I more or less agree with you here, too.

Although, a fight against a no-hope tomato can might be acceptable, just to go out on a win.

It's funny you say you've been here since 2007. A lot of posters here (JETSKI, LoutFatski, and Hoax to name a few) had been posting at The Ultimate Golota Forum back in the late 90s. A lot of us all somehow found our way to the Express some years later. Even guys like Gilberg re-emerged from the lost depths of the internet resurrected twice in the formation of RuizJabAndGrab and....damn! What was his other one? SugarWladdy?

    It was something like that.

Anyway, the point is, Golota fans themselves are an interesting study.

A lot of us have been loyal with him through all of the shortcomings and failures. For whatever reason, his loyal fans just always wanted to see him succeed.

If he's going to fight again, he needs to heal his arm, lose weight, and apply what he learned from dancing into the ring instead of standing flat footed.

I was on the great old Golota forum too.

People seem to forget that Golota won the heavyweight championship twice, two times, fairly and squarely with no ****** business at all, vs. Ruiz and Byrd, and he was robbed both times.

His efforts against Byrd and Ruiz do seem to get overlooked, and subsequent early stoppage losses to Brewster and Austin probably factor in here.

Man, I just hope he doesn't get killed! TA is gonna have to fight the smartest fight of his life.

A few rounds??? I think if he can avoid being KO'ed, he's gonna out point him for an outright win!

He'll figure out something to do in there come fightnight. He always does, but Vitali is one tough customer.

We better be doing alot of praying in the weeks leading up to Sept. 10th!

    ;)

If Wlad's chin lets him down against Haye, I'm gonna be PISSED OFF!!!

I've never liked Wlad, but he better put his guy in a coffin!

    'nuff said...;)

    GO GOLOTA!!!!

    The express will never die!!

I Was just showing someone a highlight tape of Golota's and they were amazed how good he was pre accident. How smooth and fluid his combos were for such a big guy.

I'm sorry to hear this, actually. I like Andrew, but he's already been through so many humiliating losses....why bother? He must need the money. Really, he should stick with C fighters for a long time, perhaps permanently. TOS is nothing great, but his right hand could possibly get Golota outa there quickly. Really, they should both stay home, write poetry, **** their wives, go for country drives on Sundays.
