***The Official Golota Express! Bowe-Golota II - 19 years ago today***

Now that he has a new team and is supposedly stronger than ever before, does McBoof really have a chance at derailing this Express train?

 

Historically, Golota usually does pretty well against really big fighters eg T-Rex, Bowe, Grant. I suspect McMuffin will be no different. It's the shorter, compact qucker fighters who seem to give Golota the bigger problems like Tyson, Brewster, Norris.

McMuffin will choke.

Is it me, or can everyone else easily picture McMuff going home to his mama every night so she can spoon feed him baby food from a jar while he wears a bib cloth under his chin? "Now now, Kevin, be a good boy and eat your apple sauce."

mcbride gives himself a better chance 2 win if he trains and prepares at his best, but this is andrezj's fight 2 win or lose. if both fighters prepare at the same level, not just physical fitness/conditioning wise, but in all areas, studying opponents tape as well, and both fighters have the same determination/will/heart and soul 2 win the fight, then the chances r that andrezj should win the fight, andrezj is a lot more polished fighter. u can't win a fight in training camp/preparation because u still have to execute in the ring, but u can def lose a fight in training camp if u don't prepare to the highest degree/correctly. it's like an exam, the fight is the exam. all the hard work and training is the studying, and if mcbride wants to give himself the best OPPORTUNITY 2 win, he has 2 help himself first by being in the best physical shape he can be, and fighting smartly, his gameplan. as i fighter myslef, i always prepare and work as hard and best as i can, belief in onself, and staying positive at all times, which also means staying focused and composed under pressure and unideal situations which every fighter eventually encounters in their career, that is the recipe 4 success.i i always make sure im 100% ready physically, mentally, and spirtually, my faith in God, which gives me confidence to climb inside those ropes. like i said, benching isn't everything. punching power comes from technique, hand speed, using all ur body properly to generate leverage, and natural raw power. i remember i participated in this competition with a bunch of bodybuilders 2 c who can throw the hardest punch. i registered the highest number and it wasn't even close, and these bodybuilders can bench more than I. i registered a number that heavyweights hit at, and I'm a lightheavyweight/cruiserweight, while these guys who weighed as much as a heavyweight but weren't boxers, weren't even close. hand speed is so important, if u look at the great fighters in the history of the sport, they all had tremendous hand speed. there's always a chance in the heavyweight division 4 an upset, because everybody has a "punchers chance" to end the fight with one solid flush strike. the new team may motivate mcbride more, and help him in other ways as well, but mcbride will step into that ring by himself, w/out his entourage, once the bell rings mcbride will still have to execute, mcbrides new team will help him in between rounds and give him advice, and prepare him before the fight, but he will have to motivate himself in times of trouble when he getting punished in that ring, and have the mental strength, heart and soul to dig down deep to fight like a champion. he will also have to show drive and basically everything i listed up top without his corners help. there r no timeouts in boxing, he will have to fight through any trouble or difficulty that he many encounter as well. the only thing that has a chance of derailing the g-man express, is the g-man himself. while i don't think andrezj is as fast as he once was, or puts his combinations as nicely like he once did, or moves around the ring as well as years ago, he's still pretty decent, better than decent in those regards, and hopefully he has made up for that in other ways, such as mental strength. i still think that even today andrew is 2 classes higher than mcbride. i don't know if mcbride is trying to play mind games with andrezj by saying he can bench 460, but i know that kevin knows that its no big deal, andrezj should know that he is the bigger, stronger puncher, and kevin knows that as well.

I agree, if both fighters show up in top form, Golota should win easily. And if Golota happens to lose to McMuffin, this would be a sign Golota is done, put a fork in him. I really can't see him losing to an over grown stiff like McBride, he doesn't have the power or quickness to blast Golota out early like Lewis Tyson and Brewster did and he doesnt have the skills or agility to box with Golota, even if Golota's skills have diminished.

I'm so pissed Showtime won't be showing this fight!:twisted: I'm pretty sure Golota will win (although anything's possible with him) but I want to see how good or bad he looks doing it. Hopefully the fight will surface on video somewhere and we'll be able to see how far Golota has improved since the Bates fight, which he didn't look so good IMO.
