The Official HATE JIM LAMPLEY thread

If anyone saw the Magarito vs Cotto fight tonight then something has to be said about how ignorantly and biased Jim Lampley was regarding this fight.


It was absolutely horrible with one biased comment after another.
I have a feeling Lampleys days are numbered considering he's a grey haired fat faced idiot who calls fights with a biased opinion.


He's a disgrace to boxing and should be fired after tonights episode.

In the 7th round when Margarito ate Cottos lunch you can hear Lampley screaming about Cottos "tremendous punches"

HE NEEDS TO GO.

 

Jim Lampley : Margarito has landed nothing big in the last round and landing nothing big in this round..........MEANWHILE Cotto is being bounced around the ring lke a pinball.


Utterly disgusting.
It was terrible. I HATE THE GUY.

10th round : Cotto slumps in his corner.
Lampley : I had cotto winning the round.

 

At the end of the fight .....
Lampley : Incidentally Margarito hit Cotto while he was down, that's supposed to be a big deal in Las Vegas , isnt it?


Trying not to lose his bet money???????

 

At one time he was the voice of boxing. Here lately it's almost like he tries to influence the scoring for the fighter he wants to win.


Earlier tonight it was overwhelming with his stupid comments.
It's almost liKE he was blind and couldn't see what was really happening.
Honestly it seemed like he may have had a bet on this fight, judging by the way he called it.

It truly seemed like he was trying to influence someone who had a hand in scoring AND/OR trying to sway the participants watching it.
Some of his calls were disgraceful and I think he should be let go.
It was horrible.

 

Round 9:

Lampley : Cotto looks "tire-der" than Margarito

By this time Cotto is getting the hell beat out of him.

 

Round 10:

Lampley : Margarito hasn't landed an authortative punch in the last two rounds.



Obviously Lampley ignored the body work Margarito had done the 9 previous rounds.

And then all of a sudden in the same round Lampley screams COTTOS HURT.........and he was.

 

yep.
It was disgraceful.
It defames boxing.
Like I said before, it was almost like he was being paid to discredit Tony and/or had something to gain by doing so.

Utterly dispicable considering Cotto had his ass handed to him on a silver platter.
It started in the early rounds where Cotto was clearly hurt on TWO seperate occasions which were never called.
