Cotto has been in the ring with plenty of fast handed fighters and he's knocked the living **** out of most of them. Malignaggi, Gianluca Branco, Judah.. take your pick.

you act like any of the big names have tried making a fight with Berto and he's ducked them? Nobody wants him because he brings little to the table. He's taken on quality challenges recently. These are solid defenses. Who should he be defending against?

    **** off

He isn't great but still holds a lot of potential to be great. I think his best performances will come when he is threatened, like against Collazo. I think he is a great competitor, loves to win and it shows. But he seems to get little bit bored or unfocused with guys he can't do much with. Overall though, he is still a guy to watch and follow for the future. I think everyone is kind of over analyzing him. He will continue to develop, give him time.

Urango isn't a great fighter by any stretch, but physically he's a monster. I thought all along that expecting a KO from Berto was expecting too much. The early holding was disappointing, but once Urango got tired Berto dominated.

This thread is pretty funny. I'm guessing you guys won't follow Berto the same way you never followed Williams post Quintana, Cotto post Corley, or Taylor post Ouma/ Spinks.

well DiBella did say he would put Berto in with Mosley BEFORE the Margarito fight. He changed his tune afterward so yes Berto is still protected in a way.
