I called a Hopkins UD but certainly didn't expect a shutout.

I went for a Hopkins UD,
I was right, which makes a change, because last week I went for a Tarver KO and a Peters UD!

I called a Hopkins UD, but I never expected it to be this wide. I was expecting a 116-112 at the very widest. Fantastic Hopkins performance, turning back the clock.

Well funnily enough although I thougth Kelly Pavlik had enough to win, i did put money on Hopkins...

I was a bit of a fence sitter on this one.

nope i did not call it because i felt hopkins would gas and pavlik would pressure more and be willing to go out on his sheild and do anything and everything to get the win

    but my anylisis was

think this is much closer than the 4 to 1 and 5 to 1 odds quoted but i still go for pavlik on points.

where pavlik could be troubled is that he keeps his head straight up in the air and has no head movement at all and hopkins could come in and around him landing a potshot, spinning him and then tying him up , just as he outboxed tarver.

pavliks little forward steps and footwork will be shown up in this fight, but i still fell he will do enough in 7 or 8 rounds to outwork hopkins and take the win.

Alot of the Brits picked B-Hop cause we weren't sucked in by the hype express.

i wanted B-Hop to win but i thought Pavlik would get a close UD or a MD. I couldn't stop smiling when the "Sparring Session" was over
