The official "I called Hopkins over Pavlik thread!"

Obviously I called Hopkins to win by decision because it was as clear as water that any time Kelly would try to set him up for a right smasher with his left lead, Bernard would sneak in the distance and would nail him sharp and precise with his beautiful right counter. I did put some money on Kelly b'cause I never thought they would give it to the old man against the rising star and Arum's protegé if the fight was close. I lost my money but not my smile when Old Bernard scholled him, actually I am still laughing at the clowns that predicted a one punch knockout for Kelly - that is a clear case of punk **** that sees a couple of exciting punching fests with Kelly and Jermain and then looks at Bernard and his 10th round with Joe and his "dull" fight with Winky and reaches the brilliant conclusion that this is a stupid fight for Bernard... God knows how I would like to spit in your face. What do those knockout wins for Kelly have to do with anything or with the previous Ring ratings, you ignorant punks? Damn! The only guy I am sorry about is Kelly who is a brilliant young athlete but I could swear that Nard would get to him right at the weigh-in... Kelly went too relaxed in there and his mind was not prepared to that kind of roughness and mental aggression. Of course he couldn't get off...

 

I called Hopkins over Pavlik many times, and said it would be easy (although not so effortless as hopkins made it).

 

I called a close but UD for hopkins but never thought he would dominate pavlik the way he did it was one of the best performances i have seen in modern day boxing. I also got odds of 3/1 for the hopkins victory and put down a 20 on the executioner.

 

lol. called it but havent got a chance to check it yet. not enough dimensions for pavlik. hopkins is going for jones for the rematch and is out after the W.

 

Hopkins to school him was my prediction - pretty much spot on and quite predictable.

Only thing I got wrong - I went for Hopkins to stop him late

I went with Bhop on points. Pavlik is one dimensional but very good at what he does. It´s just not enough against a guy like Hopkins.

 

I called it everyday for the last 3 months.

Made me some decentish V-cash aswell.

said it all along Hopkins by UD, but i also added, Pavlik on the canvas a few times, tht was the only part i messed up on

 

I picked BHop to pull off the upset.

It't the third time I've picked him to do so.

I called him over Tito and Tarver too.


Of those, only TArver was a true upset, in my mind.

 

I called a wide Hopkins UD for which I won an avatar bet in another thread.

I also called Calzaghe vs Hopkins a close UD to Calzaghe maybe even a split.

Not to be big-headed or anything

 

I called BHOP on points. I did not expect a career best performance though.
