I was watching the Freitas vs Corrales fight recently and for nio apprent reason at the end after the KD when Freitas went ''no mas'' I shed a tear for the one who was Diego ''Chico'' Corrales, one of the most exciting, big hearted and tenacious fighters in recent memory. His heart and determination in the ring were only equaled by his kind demeanor outsie the ring.A true warrior.

Chico was amazing. I remember watching the first Castillo fight thinking he was going to get stopped then out of nowhere he did something amazing in knocking Castillo out.

    RIP Chico

I love watching at the end of the mayweather fight, they guy was so mad that the fight was stopped. he was taking a brutal beating, and a lot of other fighters would have quit a long time before. he nearly kod his step dad. the guy loved to fight.

    We miss ya Chico.

Any guesses as to what weight he'd be fighting at if he hadn't passed?

Last night we watched Corrales and Mayweather.

Coincidently we were in vegas when he died and i did attend his funeral. Richard Steele gave the funeral oration and brought up the fight. After always being knocked down (not hurt) you could see how he just got up and kept fighting forward. After the fifth KD when the fight was called off you could see him being more than just a bit up set. Not this Vitali running around the ring after the Lewis fight was called off or how DLH quit against Bhop or Pac w/o any complaint whatsoever ... or to speak frankly punching the floor like a 10 y/o after a poke in the rids .. Not to mention... the week before he died was DLH/Mayweather .. i think the fact they made millions doing a % of what he gave to the ring really hurt him more than anything.

Complicated guy but nothing short of a true warrior. Respect.
