The fight is interesting. Pac throws a lot of punches, he has the speed to pressure Floyd, but technically, is he going to get impailed on Floyds jab? You cant just walk into Mayweather, he will kill you with counters and he has an excellent straight right, lead hook, and jab, so its going to be interesting to see how Roach thinks he can get it done.
Im sure Floyd was licking his chops when he saw Cotto snapping Pacs head back with a jab.
I believe Pac is going to have to take some punishment and try and throw punches in weird angles as he gets close, and hes pretty good at it. Fight will be a good to watch if you like technical matchups. This isnt going to be a brawl like were used to seeing with Pac.

    This is BIG!
Unfortunately though we will see something that we have all seen many times before and like it or not that isn't Pacman laying another champ out at his feet.
Elusive Mayweather wide on points or even a frustrated Pacquiao getting picked apart in the later rounds and stopped.

If it's big then it benefits both fighters, I don't think ANYONE doubts that like Pac can hurt Mayweather, Mayweather can hurt him too and we all know that like Mayweather, Pac tends to move when needed as well. Expect both guys to play aggressor and both to play defensive, though when Mayweather plays defensive he will be more affective with it.

And if he loses then Mayweather needs to stop cherry picking and fight someone his own size, right?

I couldn't agree more. Most fans of boxing always underrate things like defense they just don't understand its importance. This fight will be a revelation for them.

Hatton walked thru shots from Floyd until he forgot to block his chin and ran into the check hook. The Pacquiao in the Cotto fight looked way better than in the Hatton fight, his chin was something mystical.

Because you said so that it becomes the bible???

And for those who disagree with your opinions are not "real fan"??

Here we are again every idiot patting each other back. The thread of IVLG or formerly known as OBJECTIVITY was just trashed after most of you started patting each other's back. Now you are all doing it again with same people all over again.

When you said this fight is a 50-50, it means that you can not make a predicition without being correct or wrong 50 per cent of the time. Thus, when someone said that Pac by KO, he is wrong and right half of the time. Just as when you say that Mayweather would do a schooling.

The only idiot is the person who states with conviction how the fight would end up because that is in the realm of Nostradamus or Pacdbest (he predicted that Pac will fight Hatton, Cotto, ODLH and Mayweather when Pac was still at 130) which is beyond your ability. You suck in predicting fights anyway.

In any fight, anything can happen.

Many boxing observers are thinking that way, you are not alone but there won't be a shutdown, like what happened to JMM.

well you'll notice some people here refer to themselves as "real boxing fans" :rofl The nerve!!!:tired

Never thought that these "real boxing fans" can be so biased and narrow-minded as those casual fans that they themselves often argue with. :yep

Real boxing fans are those who care about the whole sport, not just one fighter, on whose nuts they cling on to. They would call a fight basing on each fighters weaknesses and strong points, and unlikely to rule a superfight as a one-:bbbsided affair. This only proves their ignorance toward other fighters except for their favorite.:hey

So many posters predict an upcoming fight, and as usual, some eat crow and some bathe in euphoria. But just the same, it does nothing to a real boxing fan. Except to those posers who'd like to say "i told you so" after a fight, if they're lucky to have chosen the right winner.:hey
