Lucas is the 140 king. Shame 147 isn't a weight he should really contest at... He'd F8ck the likes of Berto & Ortiz over in a couple of rounds.

Lucas has everything expected from a top P4P fighter. Chin, Heart, Power, Boxing skill... Only thing he lacks is speed... but you can't have it all.

The worst thing about the whole thing is the way Garcia, Peterson and Khan all tried to deny Lucas... Predicting Peterson by UD... Garcia & Khan both know Peterson well and will have **** their pants see'ing the way Lucas dealt with him.

 

Garcias face after Peterson was Knocked the **** out was priceless. Garcia is shook by Lucas, looked like Spink's face vs Tyson

 

Garcia has probaly sparred with Lamont... knows him well and thinks he is a tough cookie.

Lucas walked through him without lifting a finger.

I was glad to see that fraud Peterson get his ass handed to him. However, you guys are getting a little over the top with comparing Lucas to Chavez. Lucas is a strong guy, but average boxer, he is lunch meat to a skilled boxer.

 

Ive been behind Danny Boy Garcia a long time.
He's going to cut Lucas in half.

 

I thought it could take up to 4 rounds to take out Peterson. But Matthysse has some seriously wilting power. Hopefully next up will be Garcia in a fight i think will be harder and will go on for longer but will still end in a Matthysse KO victory.

Love Lucas only problem now is who will willingly get in the ring with him

Peterson has a reputation as being tough and durable and he was brushed aside with total ease only shows how much Lucas has learnt from his close losses I would even say they have done him the world of good he clearly never wants to put another decision in the hands of judges.

 

Them losses are the best thing to happen to him, 1 robbery so he becomes more aggressive 2 robberies now hes just going straight for the KO

I don't understand how any boxing fan couldn't Love Lucas, watching a KO artist do his thing is probably the best sight in Boxing. It doesn't get any better than stopping your opponent.

 

I'll allow that only because you have "Sweetpea"in your name! compared to Whittaker, all boxers are bumbling fools.

- But Lucas is FAR from average in skill. His footwork may seem a little slow, but he has great defensive head movement, incredibly fast hands, and he knows how to throw from all sorts of angles. Plus, his accuracy is beautiful, probably as good as Hagler's. You can't make any mistakes against this guy.

Lucas fights more in the style of Golovkin, Kovalev, etc, rather than Whittaker, Jones, et all. he doesn't waste too much energy, and he doesn't mind taking a few shots in order to keep his eyes 100% on his opponents, thus increasing the chances of landing a deadly blow.

This is a very interesting style, which is perhaps a bit dangerous, but also incredibly effective and at the same time incredibly difficult to pull off.

One could say the same of a prime Mike Tyson, though his was yet a thrid style: Stay square to your opponent (not sideways with the jab) get inside and use head movement to avoid his punches. Again, the eyes never have to leave the opponent, and the body is always in position for a powerful blow.

It sure worked for Mike.
