I thought Broner would win by wide UD. Props to Maidana. Broner needs to take boxing seriously and move down a weight. Maybe he might become a champ again. He's been lazy in my opinion and that's why he jumped from 135 to 147.

Props to Maidana who is one of my favorites. I honestly never thought that Broner would stop Maidana, but I expected him to edge out Maidana. Mad props to Maidana on the victory, the bad part is that he might be fed to Floyd next.

I'll join this thread, I lost $250 (parlay style) on Broner tonite. That said I couldn't be happier. Merry Christmas to the vast Army of All Bull**** Haters.

Hey, I'm glad to admit I got this wrong. I thought Broner would win pretty comfortably on points with the potential for a late stoppage. That chopping right hand, jab, and body work paid huge dividends for Chino, though. Well done. :happy

I still have to give Broner his due, that was one of the most dramatic lopsided fights I've seen. He just wasn't active enough and right when he'd have a moment, Chino would fire right back and have an answer.

I wouldn't have even been mad if the ref had stopped it, I think in the 10th it was. One thing about the shoulder roll defense is that you have to have the foot work to get away from certain shots. you cant roll everything.

I suppose I'm in. Broner is way worse than I thought and Maidana has improved a lot since the terrible Alexander fight.

I knew it, every since he fought Paulie something about this kid wasn't what everyone thought. It was beautiful to see how ashamed he was, as he should be.

he'd beat Alexander if there was a ref who knew the rules of boxing. clinching isn't legal.

the Khan that fought Maidana the first time? hell no. Marcos was at his very best back then. he's lost a couple of steps since then.

he's still a dangerous fighter though for anyone in the division. :deal
