At least they finally fought. Jones has actually looked pretty good in his last 3 fights. No need to say he was a walking punching bag since he isn't.

Roy hasn't beaten a ranked fighter in 5 years, and Ajamu, Hanshaw, and a shot and bloated Trinidad all went the distance with him. The man was shot. Calzaghe is immensely talented and that can't be taken from him, but I lost virtually all respect for him. He took pride in embarassing a shot fighter and taunted him all night.

He looked good again after the first round. No question he is a hall of fame fighter but lets be honest, Roy is at least 6 years removed from his prime.

This whole fight was an embarrassment to boxing and should be swept under the carpet.

Anyone who posts that this fight showed them the light is a worthless turd. Calzaghe is a great fighter and that has been clear since the Kessler fight, if you needed to see him slapping a shot Jones around to come to that conclusion then you are pretty thick.

He impressed me tonight. The way he was able to put his hands down in front of the fast handed RJ for most of the fight told me a lot about his talents. RJ saw this but couldn't take advanage.

But it doesn't change the fact that i think his fans overrate him. And with this win over the greatest fight of this era (obviously shot RJ) and the fact that Joe has a "0" next to his record, his fans will always go overboard. :-( :patsch
