I lumped my monthly betting pot on Stoke to beat Newcastle last Monday. I was at Newcastle vs Wigan and thought they were poor and very lucky to get the win. Stoke look a good bet at home so at even money I lumped on.... and lost. Wanted Ricky to win tonight but could not see any other result than katsidis Ko so put money I didnt have on the KO to try and recoup some lost cash.. **** it! I wont rememeber the fact I was skint in Nov '11 for a month but I'll always rememeber wee Ricky winning tonight.
I knew Ricky Burns would win all along . . . . Ignore my anti ricky burns thread . . . . it was a joke No ones buying this . . . . Still well done to him, I didnt know he stood that tall and he worked well behind his jab all night. I still feel the scores were wide and the ref was being a ***** with the glove binding but all in all i think I had Burns by a round or two, i just got so caught up in the action i wasnt focusing on the scores. Lost 6 hundred and 63 pounds, 95 pence. Had 450 on at 5/6 for George Groves stoppage so the blows softened slightly. Burns did well tonight.
