Why would Taylor have any excuses? He fought his heart out and came up short. He even admitted it. Both guys were classy last night. The fans should do the same.

His unjustified rise in the sport wasn't very classy.

Pavlik never gave Taylor any lunch money or a lift to the gym?
There was something wrong with Pavlik's hand wrapping?
They injected Pavlik with "something" before the fight to make him stronger?
Pavlik's corner stepped into the ring before the fight was over?

This was a memorable fight for all the right reasons. Ain't gonna be no excuses!

Exactly. The corruption of this sport by powerful networks like HBO is disgusting, and fans should speak out against it when it occurs. It was a crime what HBO did to Hopkins and Wright - but now Pavlik has made it right.

Sorry HBO, you can't get your poster-boy a gift decision when he's lying on the canvas!!! :-(

And how was that Taylor's fault in any way? All he did was fight. And fight very good guys. So he wasn't always the celar victor. He wasn't judging his own fights. The way you and Zakman place the hype on Taylor on him is 100% nonesensical. Would you prefer he face chumps only and blew them out? The hatred you display, and yes, it is hatred, pathetic for a would be boxing fan.

Anf BTW, he lost fair and square. You obviously just wanted to start ****. Grow up some will ya...

Please, I have always been more then fair with my assessment of Margarito.I never called him the greatest anything dip****. You're just trying to say that hoping others who hate me wil agree and jump to your aid. :patsch

But that's fine, I don't really care what you children have to say about me. The more rational, and knowledgeable posters know different and resp[ond to me different.

Anyway, so what the heck does your reply have to do with anything? You're acting like a little kid who won a free toy.

If you are so smart, why not answer what just answer me instead of acting like a fool with nothing to say? HOW was any of the hype his fault? And why do you take it out on him?

It wasn't JT's fault, but this had to happen to him for the good of boxing. The emperor Had no clothes, and he needed someone to show him, without any doubt, that he was bare ass naked. :deal

He went along with it because he wanted to feed his family, which he cannot be faulted for, and hell, he did try (except for the Sponks fight).

Truthfully, it was clear JT knew he wasnt really that good.
After the BHOP and Wright fights, he did not have the same fire in him. He had the look of a man who knew he lost on his face all three times.

He really is a pawn at the end of the day, but that flase image of his being some "great" fighter had to come to an end. It will mature him, hopefully.
