clottey is pretty good and is extremely big/strong for a welter, but he's got a lot to prove

 

Clottey ain't no bum. His style may **** you off, and his personality and excuses may annoy you, but he is not a bum. And Margarito is not - I repeat - NOT going to go in there and brutalize him. If they fight it should be a really intersting matchup. I think Margo will begin to get frustrated if he can't hurt or back up Clottey, but i think Clottey can get gassed around the 9th or 10th and anything can happen.

 

Margarito was CLEARLY frustrated on July 14, 2007 at approx 9:45 PST - aboout 15 seconds into the 12th round when he realized that his opponent had taken all he had to give and had come out the corner on his feet, ready to start tatooing his ass.

Clottey would give him the same frustration if his stamina holds up, which I think it should.

 

Clottey is an underrated fighter,a good fighter.Would give any 147 and154 fighter a hard time if not beat them

 

IMHO i think Clottey gives any top welter a run for their money.He is well built as a welter,great chin,has good pop,decent speed and stamina and has great Defense.His style is a bit tenative at times but Clottey is definetly a threat to any top dog.:hat

BTW Yeah he is very underrated!

If Clottey had more stamina and heart, he would be devastating. But as it stands, he lacks in both departments. But still, he's a huge and rugged WW with a granite chin with a lot of talent. He's a challenge for any WW today.

I would like to see what he can do against PW and Margarito. I would like to see what happens if his hands hold up against Marg. And Williams is just a fight i would like to see.

 

I'm rolling with Clottey. The man has good skills, fast hands, a good chin, and big heart. Clottey all the way. I'm Irish but i have to roll with Clottey. Watch out for Kenny Egen.

I like Clottey's skills, there are some good fights for him out there.
