I would like to see Hillary vs Trump over 12, for the continental America's title. I think Hilly is pretty scrappy!

    Very intriguing fight.

I will always favor the naturally bigger guy who has years of experience at this weight class. Kovalev is much more than a hard hitter, he is a good boxer. This fight will depend on what Ward is willing to take. Kovalev aint' Carl Froch. He hits harder and is not one dimensional. If Ward is content with making this a very ugly and boring fight, a close UD for him would not surprise me. If he boxes Kovalev and tries to assert dominance, he gets KO'd. I don't recall any fighter not being knocked silly at some point vs. Kovalev. Even B-Hop.

Ward will win this, and give Kovalev a boxing lesson on the way..

When a boxer faces of with a fighter inside the ring, expect the boxer to get the win almost every time. Floyd vs Pac, Wlad vs Haye, Hopkins vs Pavlik, Ward vs Froch and so on and so forth. So I'm going with Ward.

He will move, jab and spoil on the inside with crap punches that doesn't hurt but win him rounds. Kovalev will get frustrated and punch himself out. The bout will be grueling and ugly with stamine as one of its most crusial factors. Ward gets away with a close UD after being hurt a few times.

By the way, I wouldn't mind to see Ward get KO'd, but unfortunately it wont happen.

When two p4p guys clash, I pick the bigger guy with more recent experience at the top level. So I think Kovalev wins.

Note that I like both fighters a lot.

Kovalev MD Ward. I think Kovalev has been firing on all cylinders
and Ward not active enough at the elite level. I think Ward shows
his mettle and resolve in this fight.

I am surprised to see so many think Kovalev will win.
Ward UD 12, but not easily.
