very entertaining fighter and fun to watch. but no beltholder material. slow, plodding, no defense, no headmovement, slow hands, good power (not the monster puncher everyone tries to see in him), no ring iq at all, no gamplan. every one who will box him him will school him. chambers would school him, jennings also. i see nothing special at all. bisbals jab made him problems. what would happen with a good jabber???

Mago coming back 27 April on the Martinez-Macklin undercard, vs Sebastian Ignacio Ceballos (33-7-2, 25 KO), one of those South American HW's with a padded record, should be an easy fight for him

 

The South American HWs are pathetic. Ceballos lost to Fabio Moli two years ago, who is now well into his 40s. In his "prime", Moli lasted just under 2 minutes against Wlad and was KO'd by Skelton and Bydenko.

The likes of Moli, Ceballos, Pucheta, Basile etc all have padded records against fellow HWs from the region and when they step it up against a European they get smashed to bits.

Mago to KO Ceballos within the first 2 rounds.

 

He's in my "team"... another easy KO and additional points for me! :happy


Seriously though, I thought that Mago was past this kind of "opponents". feed guys like that to Wilder or something. :-((

He had a nice run with Pettaway, Bayram, McCline but now he's decreasing his level of opposition and going the Boytsov route. I remember reading something about a WBC tournament, in dubai or something, to decide the next mandatory with the regional titlists facing eachother. Anyone have info on that?
