Well...Brock was an elite college/folkstyle wrestler.

So presumably he knows about the various takedowns.
He knows how to escape from an inferior position.
He knows to reverse out from a bottom position,so that he ends up in control in a top position.
He knows all about breakdowns and rides-how to flatten an opponent whose in a bottom position and turn him over for the pin.
He knows the counters to all these moves.


Finally he has an intuitive grasp of leverage and balance.
So he can execute all these techniques efficiently,he doesn't waste nearly as much energy as an untrained fighter and he's an expert in neutralising and tiring out his opponent on the mat.

All this provides a solid base for Brock as an MMA fighter.

I think this thread was made as a joke. You know, a thing that people with a sense of humour post.
I love these posters who chime along after the event saying they knew what was gonna happen all along but didnt have the balls to say so before the fight. Their lives must be really sad if thats all they've got to make the feel good about themselfes hey is an 'I told you so' attitude. Personally I'll stick with having a sense of humour.
And for the record, I dont think Pudz gassed. I think he flopped on his back and was about to try some breakdancing moves on the matt and ko Sylvia. But the ref didnt understand his expression of violence throught the medium of dance, and while Pudz was tapping the matt to get a good beat going for his moves, everyone else thought he was submitting. The dude is way ahead of his time I think

 

I agree that this was just a kinda fun thread, I don't think Pudz will ever reach the top of the UFC or anything but his second fight was a decent win and you gotta give him credit for taking on Sylvia in his 3rd. As well as fighting twice in a month.
