Leonard should be higher than Duran. He beat greats and knocked some out. Duran did not.. Only Ray.

 

This is why I mention Duran on the board because I don't see how. He did not beat All time great fighters, and Ray Leonard did, and the key to ATG is who you beat right? In a head to head way.

 

I can see an argument for Pac being around 10. But beyond that is pushing it a little bit.

I dont know too much about all the old timers but I cant rate him above Duran p4p. And thus cant rate him any higher than somebody who rates higher than Duran. But I do have Pac #1 of my lifetime. And RJJ #2. I dont have a set in stone #3.

 

Well yes Hagler and Hearns are better than Duran. But not better p4p.

 

Okay when they see Manny’s best fights has stipulations like catch weights or fighting a guy coming off a loss it’s really going to hurt Manny. Let’s also not forget fighting Floyd’s leftovers almost immediately after Floyd beat these guys. Ray is probably better H2H. Although Duran did beat him when he was on shape.

But Duran is without a doubt the greater p4p fighter. There is no debate there.

He went up into Leonard's weight class and took it to him. Round by round he went in there and hit Leonard hard.

 

Even the biggest Floyd can admit that Pacs 2 best wins are better than any Floyd win.

 

Also you clowns made Floyd more rich than Manny. You were more willing to spend your money to watch Floyd lose over Manny. And when historians go over each resume with a fine tooth comb, they will realize Manny was a bigger cherry picker. Just to throw a cherry on top Manny couldn’t handle fighters like Jeff Horn and agapito Sanchez.

Bs. Manny is always held to a lower standard to Floyd. Contrary to popular belief, Barrera and Morales were not prime. Cotto came off a beating and fought at a CW. Your whose nuts you would want in your mouth more has nothing to do with the sport of boxing.

again, Ray fought his fight and still Duran fought a close fight. Ray was the variable. Duran fought at 154 before Hearns,Leonard and Benitez did.
