Judah was not credited with a legit KD. Just like JLC wasn't credited with a Win.

Manny is tarnishing his status by not knowing when to call it a day. He will get stopped again before it's all said and done, sadly.

It wasn't a legit knockdown and PBF beat JLC in a close fight. What was legit was both Zab and JLC gave PBF a harder fight than Pac did.:deal:

Dude, that's silly. If Manny went on to get stopped 3 more times, it doesn't impact his legacy at all. Him getting stopped 3 more times does not undo the work he did. Just means he got old/shot and was still fighting. Similarly, if Floyd came back and got KO'd by Danny Garcia or something, his ATG standing wouldn't be impacted.

By these manny fans logic, Oscar de la Hoya should be the greatest of all time since losing doesn’t matter.

Writers and film makers like pivotal, signature events. Manny had his epic series with JMM. Manny had the highlight reel KOs. Manny had the a lower start in life (which is saying something because Floyd had it rough), and Manny ended up an elected official. Plus, he was never arrested for beating a woman.

So, I think we'll see more movies and books about Manny than Floyd simply because he's easier to cover and far more personable.

But I think true fans will generally appreciate Floyd's skill level as being notably higher than Manny's.

Duran beat 11 great fighters, many well above his best weight. If you don't know who these men are then you should educate yourself.

Roberto Duran - Leonard, DeJesus x2, Buchanan, Barkley, Cuevas, Palomino, Ishimatsu, Mamby, Viruet, Marcel, Kobayashi

Floyd did everything to avoid Pacquiao in his prime, circa 2008-2011. If we look at some common opponents in that time.

Golden Boy: Floyd struggles against a washed up Oscar, whereas Pac destroys him with ease.
Sugar Shane: Floyd took the hardest hit of his career, almost KO'd in that round. Pac beats Shane easy.
Ricky Hatton: The hitman did well against Floyd until getting KO by the ringpost in rnd 10. Pac demolished him in 2 rnds and sent shivers down Floyd's spine.
Cotto: Pac destroys him TKO in 12. Floyd faces Cotto 3 years later, not as impressive, UD victory.
Margo: Pac destroys a much bigger Margo. Floyd ducks him.

People will mention JMM, but Pac beat him twice in that period and if you keep fighting the same opponent 4 times you can get complacent. Sometimes styles make fights, we saw Floyd struggle with Castillo.

Marquez wasn't Hulkez yet when Mayweather brought him in from the lightweights.
Pacquiao 2009-2012 would have been by far the riskiest fight both career-wise and health-wise for Mayweather.
Since Mayweather's fights were unspectacular, people mostly watched to see his historic first loss.

Probably because Crackhead Sr. said "if my son fights that man, I fear for his life" after the Hatton annihilation.
