Indeed business comes first as i said.

Pac placed his own obstacles so not just tell me venue and time and i will turn up, and why should he be, he was a A side fighter.

Neither truly needed the other financially or legacy wise.

Both are multi weight world champions, seeing such a fighter labelled as scared is ludicrous.

Yeah he blames him knowing full well that he never was on anything,

It was just a way to confuse his guidable fanbase into believing it, knowing that they'll take anything he says for facts due to their own low IQ rationale,

Even now i have seen him after meeting & taking pics with Pacquiao when on other's soil he would then go back running back to the US & get on his Pro LDBC Race worshiping channels to further accuse him for PED's when in reality insecure boy has been the one juicing the hardest all along.

Both sides were guilty of ducking.

The bout could have taken place in 2010 if either side really wanted it to.

Floyd was the Lance Armstrong of boxing while going on his clean sport crusade.

They both should have been allowed to use PEDS in 2010.

Floyd was a calculated businessman by that point of his career. Pac was just too risky a fight to take. Floyd did what he could to make it look like he wasn’t solely to blame for the fight not being made.

Pac got sparked by Marquez and had another tough fight with Bradley, had two gimmes against Rios and Algieri and Floyd decided the time was right….and he was right. Pac didn’t have the anywhere near the same stamina/relentlessness by then.

Prime for Prime Pac wins. Another calculated move by Floyd.

The fight should have and could have been made when both were in their primes and likely would have been made had Pacquiao was willing to get drug tested. I think during that time Mayweather was feeling the pressure of the public demanding the fight, but the further along the fight did'nt get made the more comfortable Mayweather got holding on to the notion that Pacquiao was a cheat who did'nt want to get tested and thus he was'nt going to put himself in that disadvantage.

To the thread starters question if Mayweather was scared?
I think Mayweather was fearful. For as much as Mayweather worked with the skill aspect of craft, he more than most fighter knew his own weaknesses.
Alot of boxing fans think that because Marquez had Pacquiao's number, Mayweather would also. But it really does'nt work that way and Mayweather himself knew that.

I think Pacquiao did want it, but Arum certainly did'nt.

I think Mayweather knew Pac was fast enough to have good chances to land the big LH, plus the power.
    Fluid was worried about Pacroid.
And we saw in the eventual fight Pac did land flush with the LH at one point. In his fearless prime he had a good chance of nailing Mayweather and at the very least causing big trouble.

i used to be a big mayweather stan and i supported him and al haymon through that whole saga with pacquaio and bob arum

but now seeing whats on with tank/garcia and crawford/spence, or what happened with wilder/joshua and how the PBC were holding up those fights, it wouldnt shock me if mayweather took the pac fight after pac was brutally knocked out by marquez

either way i realized quickly that the pbc is bad for boxing
