I disagree! It was NO work. I bet Mayweather had harder sparring sessions in the lead up to this fight.

I saw Floyd hurt 3X, I think. I never saw Pac hurt once. Floyd touched him, but he wasn't landing the right hand w/ authority or at will. Pac wasn't punished or toyed with. Clear win for Floyd, but domination and clinic are not applicable terms.

Well, Roach had Manny believing he could. A terrible misstep on their part.

Pacquiao had trouble getting inside. Floyd was sharp! Too quick and apparently hit hard enough to earn Pacquiao's respect. He countered Manny at will.

in that case, they cheated the fans money then. if he was injured going into the fight knowing he cannot win, he should have backed out and re-scheduled the fight.

    1. Floyd promised an action packed fight. HE DIDN'T DELIVER. He ran A LOT, for 12 rounds non-stop. At one point during training camp, Freedie said that his biggest fear was Floyd running for 12 rounds, this what he got. Floyd disappointed.

    2. Fight was closer that scorecards. 116-112 was more appropriate. Judges gave a couple of rounds to Floyd unjustifiably. You cannot give the guy running any rounds unless he lands any significant punches. Pacquiao was chasing him non-stop for 12 rounds, it was tiring just watching it. There were a couple of rounds it seems a couple of judges gave Floyd the rounds but because they were dazzled by his elusiveness.

    3. Manny disappointed too. Sure he had to chase Floyd for 12 rounds and take risks but he didn't do enough of it.

    4. Floyd won but taking plenty of heat for the way he won. It's bitter sweet victory

    5. Manny was a bit of a sore loser. Admit you lost. You can call floyd a b i t ch and that you had to chase him for 12 rounds but you lost.

The two of them disappointed. In the end, how many punches did Floyd land that hurt Pac? 2 or 3? How punches did Pac land that hurt Floyd? 2-3? the rest was running and running, pillow punching and punches hitting air. Then Manny himself was too cautious and inactive. Again, he had to chase floyd for 12 rounds but he could've thrown more, to give himself more chances. When he got close, you could definitely see Floyd struggled with Pac's speed and awkwardness. I'm not sure why Pacquiao didn't throw more, was it strategy? was it shoulder? was it Floyd's counters? probably a bit of all of it.

Oh, please. Really? A few hundred million dollars on the line and you want to buy into the last second "my shoulder was injured?" Who gives a hoot. Retire, both of them. Let real fights take place, where real exchanges are initiated and real blows are landed.

He hurt Pac once. I can't recall which round. It had Pac retreating for a moment in the round.

now that the smoke has cleared, and school is dismissed, the grade given out....Manny Pacquiao didn't belong in the same ring with Floyd.......I mean this is no real surprise looking at the common opponents, the fighters respective natural weights, the boxing skills (one can box the other really has no boxing skills just a punch).......does any one real think that had Manny Pacquiao fought Tommy Hearns, Sugar Ray Leonard, Roberto Duran, that he would have won? I mean really......this was nothing any real boxing fan who was not blinded by the fanatic hate for a true craftsman(Mayweather) has in the ring could see coming a mile away and for many years. Had they fought 5 years ago would have been the same result.......it is over and done and the goofy southpaw myth is put to rest.:hi:

Apparraently Iron mike wrote on his page "and we waited 5 years for that?"

yup. It was embarrassing. All my mma friends have been saying this fight would be a stinker, and they were right. I have nowhere to hide now. There needs to be a major change in the boxing rules. Something like no more winning by decisions, only knockouts. Even a shot 50 year old Tyson right now would have been more entertaining last night than those two. Granted he would have only lasted 2 rounds but he certainly would have given it his all.
