You definition of "hurt" differs vastly from mine. Floyd was never hurt.

He relegated Pacquiao to 429 punches thrown, and only 81 landed. He outclassed him. Took him to school.

God damn it even cage fight fans are laughing at us and they are guys who put their b@lls in each others faces. 100 % of the comments are negative.

    http://www.sherdog.com/news/news/Sti...Decision-85605

"Snore fest. This is why boxing is dead."

"I've seen better fights at a daycare"

"hahaHAHAAHHAHAH people actually paid $100 ppv for this fight and thousands of dollars per seat.. baahHAHAHAHHH"

"This "fight" (I use that term loosely) was terrible for boxing. Millions of non-boxing fans were watching, ready to be converted into boxing fans, but were instead bored to tears by Mayweather's refusal to engage and constant running and holding. A great opportunity missed."

"It was not a fight, not a mark on either boxer, boxing is not dead, but this is a nail in the coffin for sure. it's just fraudulent to call them fights and to charge so much money. it was not entertaining no Mayweather boxing match is entertaining."

"If escape and run makes a champion, put me in the cage with Cain Velasquez. I'll get his belt, cause i'll run all the time!!"

"To call this a fight was insulting to fights, Myweather out-boxed Pacquaio I'm told so if that's boxing and the best boxer in the world i think I'll stick to MMA where a fight for the most part is a fight."

"Boxing is dead because it's not what it use to be. I myself dozed off about 7 times but I still watched the fight... because it was the "biggest fight of boxing history" lol."

I wanted for the MMA to be impressed and then this happens! son of a ***** !

Exactly Tyson was a pac fan why would he enjoy his fighter getting beat as badly as that, same hype that got Tyson lovers thinkinghe would smash Lennox, I notice how the most famous of pats fans haven't asked why pac was so poor and couldn't do all the things they said he would

He clinced just enough to keep Pac from getting off and not get a point taken. Brilliant game plan. Bayless does what Bayless always does...break up the fighters as soon as it happens. He issued a warning to Floyd too, I think. Pac just couldn't prevent himself from being clinched.

No way on God's green earth did Pacquiao win ths fight. He didn't do anywhere near enough and I'm struggling to see where he won more than 2 rounds. Jesus christ, I like Pac but come on. Floyd was far superior.

but many of thorse rounds he didn't do much at all, that;s the problem.

Boxing should have many 10-10 rounds. Floyd clearly won some rounds but in several rounds, he didn't do much, yet won them. Fight certainly didn't feel like a dominant performance. How can you call it dominant? Floyd landed like 2-3 good shots all fight... He just was hard to chase down.

Here is some comments from the news article I am looking at.

"They should build statue of Mayweather standing over the grave of boxing. This was boxings last huge fight, an opportunity to get people interested again and all he did was make a boatload of money running like a #$%$ the whole fight.

"At least he's retiring soon and I'll never have to watch that nutless #$%$ run for 12 rounds again. If you think Mayweather is a good fighter look him and all his challengers after every fight. Neither one has a mark on their face."

"This is the "fight of the century?" Hard to believe that millions paid $100 to watch this. Thankfully it's over. Maybe now we can get back to more important things like watching paint dry."

"Did they even hit each other? Was it a slap fight? Knew it would be a decision."

"Mayweather was a coward. He stayed away from Pacman and held him every chance he had. He won by points. This was one of the most boring fights I have seen in my 64 years I have been alive. What a waste of time and money. Mayweather you are boring."

"What a boring garbage performance. They took hundreds of millions of dollars to dance around like two ballerinas. I want my money back. If anyone ever pays another dollar to see a Maywaether fight (after he duped us all) they have to be #$%$."

"Someone please tell Mayweather he has it all wrong. He's supposed to fight in the ring and hug at home, not the opposite."

"So this is what boxing is now? I haven't watched a fight in years and it appears I am not missing much."

"It was Olympic boxing, not professional boxing. Floyd won because he touched Manny more. None of those were real hard punches or visibly noticeable."

"Historic bout?? This fight was the same garbage we've seen in jsut about every pro boxing match in the last 15-20 years. Mayweather dancing around .. Very little fighting going on... Boxing is the biggest fraud in America."

"Is this boxing at its finest? ... or shall we say hugging, clinching, running ..and protecting self at all times..hahahaha what a joke? it does not live up to fans expectations of an epic fight... boooooooriiiiiiiiiiing.."

"The Fight of the Century!?!? Ha, it was, “The running Marathon of the Century” as well as, “The least amount of Punches thrown in the Century”

"Someone told the judges that they were working a track meet, for sure Mayweather won by a mile."

Etc,etc, etc, most people was ripped off, disgusted and was bored to hell.

Didn't Tyson say before the fight that Pacquiao was perpetual motion and that Floyd would need to throw 100 punches a round to win?

Another thing, Floyd never panicked, a lot of Pac's opponent's panic when Manny throws flurries. Floyd kept his eyes, focus on Pac the whole night. Just compare it to the Bradley fights where Tim went into full re**** mode

because floyd was running like crazy. I think also, Manny was waiting to counter floyd instead of stepping in recklessly. This was , perhaps a bad strategy.
