Postponing this fight would have ****ed a TON of people off. The whole city was banking on this fight (flights, hotels, tickets). People fight through injuries all the time.

I don't know. I saw the guy raise his arms thinking he won at the end and I saw no signs of pain what so ever.

IB can't you ban boxing_master and all his alts, reanthefox, mr_harry, constable, ryan_c etc, it would be a much quicker solution to clear up the forum.

I know, but thinking he could beat Floyd with an injured right arm... you'd think Manny wouldn't want to risk a loss or being under 100% considering this was the fight of the century. So going in there, and then not being able to use it.. he has no one to blame but himself.

In 2009 I had it 60% Floyd wins 40% Pac wins, after Maidana, 55% Floyd wins, 45% Pac wins. If this was always gonna be Roach's masterplan Pacquiao would lose nine times out of ten, it's a terrible approach. He didn't have the same speed advantage he is accustomed to and he fights best at mid-range, Floyd is a master of range and has those long ass arms and unbelievable defense. He had some success when Floyd employed the high guard and was standing infront of him, he rattled him and flurried but backed off wary of the counter. You can't count Floyd getting hurt for fifteen seconds as a moral victory boxing_master, we know Mayweather isn't the aggressive fighter Pacquiao is.

The fight was a one armed, clean, weakened, blood drained, washed up Pacquiao against a juiced to the gills PEDweather + judges

but you said that Floyd says that timing is everything. So wouldn't that same logic apply to Pac when he fought fighters that were either coming off losses or were past prime?
It goes both ways brother, I am not here to defend either Pac or Mayweathers Resume. I just don't want to hear the "past prime" excuse when everyone here on this board was saying that Pac was going to kill floyd

:rofl yea lets foregt once again that marquez had to jump two weight classes immediately with no steady growth to the weight and even then floyd still came in overweight and like f was marquez prime he's way past his best days

Manny has never shown "pain" in a fight. The way I knew it was legit is because he literally did not throw any jabs, crosses, or hooks. And when he let off the combo in round 4, he pulled back. Even when Floyd was still shelled up, Manny pulled back. I started screaming at the TV, "WTF, YOU CANT LET OFF!"

Yeah and that's the only way he can win, by pulling all these strings and gaining advantages that no one else gets. I mean he flat out accused Manny of being on roids, which is a serious charge and kept saying all he wanted was an even playing field. That's BS, first of all it's not like commisions didn't do drug testing, Floyd just wanted Olympic style drug testing, and with that basically was saying Manny was cheating, even though there's no evidence to suggest that. And basically tried to make Manny the bad guy, and then even after Manny agreed still Floyd wouldn't fight him.

Floyd himself took drugs to make his brittle hands stronger that's performance enhancing too. Floyd does all this treatments in Vegas that other boxers don't have access to or the money to afford and he was crying about the playing field not being even. That they need more drug testing. He kept saying that Manny was ordinary then one day became extraordinary, and basically suggested that can't happen unless your on PEDs? I mean to go that far to accuse someone like that is just flat out ridiculous.

And remember him in the weigh in victory? No pain there neither. Here is Paulie's take who called the fight exactly how it went
