I understand your view. At least for American boxers the talent pool just isn't there anymore. That being said who you fight and the time that you fight them has a tremendous impact on the income of young up and coming boxer who is serious about making a career out of the sport without needing secondary income. Its really indicative of how our modern business patterns work.

That's a good point. The cause of lack of footwork is fatigue and poor conditioning. The last time Manny was this flat-footed was against Bradley 2 where his conditioning was just bad.

This is the 2nd time with Fortune. Either Pacquiao isn't listening to him, he's shot, or Fortune isn't working.

"Freddie wants him on his toes for 12 so I'll put him on his toes for 15."

Well, he wasn't even on his toes for one lol.

Be afraid MVC if come the end of 2015 Floyd thinks he can have a monumental leaving performance in KO'ing Khan because things will turn sour fast. :deal You have my word. Floyd is better than Khan but by Floyd's own words "It's all about timing". This ain't no land 10 punches to win a round shizz - boxing is young mans game.

Those two right hand counters from Mayweather in the frist round set-up the scene for the rest of the fight (re watch first round). Mayweather did get his attention with them shots which made Manny gun shy.

Thoughts of JMM came flooding back.

The whole injury thing is a cover for Manny in case he fails the test. They made sure we know it was approved by USADA! They're covering their asses. I'm sure he was getting some kind of steroids to speed "healing process". I find it suspicous this was all done behind the public's eye. Everything Floyd did from the cup, gloves, etc the public knew.

Did you guys see the bacne? It was worse than JMM.

It's similar to Floyd claiming 'I did it for the fans though' cause he was embarrassed that Cotto and Maidana gave him a good tumble. The difference is that he also extended congratulations for their efforts and admitted they troubled him as well as protecting his ego (even though he didn't lose or get heavily outpointed).

Most rational people laugh at him for trying to say he only struggled because he let the other guy win rounds. Manny saying 'He ran' or 'my shoulder being sore is the only reason I lost eight or nine rounds' without even admitting what Floyd did to trouble him is sour g****s. He was extremely game and able, sore shoulder or not, Floyd isn't a robot devoid of vulnerable limbs either.

Read this. No excuses, Manny walked into that ring with the intent of knocking Floyd out. He made no secret of that. Now if that was his intentions, he should have said to himself, right hand be dammed and threw that mother****** until it fell off in the ring or the fight was stopped because it was visibly evident that he couldn't continue. I'm not buying that weak ass shiit. Nobody bought Bradley's excuse that he hurt his leg and Pac is no better.
