I did not see an excessive amount of clinching sorry just my thoughts and I can't stand clinching though I do understand its place in boxing. The clinching was moderate.

 

Forgive me if I'm wrong now but years ago when I was a mod on a forum & a chat host on AOL It was our job to assist new members & keep the forum running smoothly. Lately it seem a couple of Mods have started a gestapo type campaign merging threads so it is impossible to follow any of them.
Also there was a spell of people getting bans for supposedly using banned words. But no one tells you what bad words youre supposed to have used LOL. This is a good forum I'd hate to see it ruined

We all not the hugging destroys the essence of a boxing fight.
It should not be part of a boxer's defence and denies a boxing fans of a real fight.

Marquez was ALWAYS older than Pacman and beat him 3 out of 4 clearly. Outboxed him and knocked him out. So actually Dinamita has the better wins, he beat all versions of Pacman. Marquez wasn't damaged goods like Morales was.

I think more GRAPPLING (not clinching)should be allowed. But maybe I say this from a bias perspective, since I would be more of a brawling wrestler in the ring than a straight boxer. I don't think it would have made much of a difference yesterday tho, since neither Pac or Floyd (well I guess Floyd to an extent) are known for grappling.

That being said, they should allow more grappling in boxing like in the old days. A good tussle is necessary when some douchebag tries to hug all the time.

That's Pacquiao's fault for liking the hugs and not doing anything to stop Floyd from doing so.
