An orthopedic surgeon verified using MRI that Manny had a rotator cuff tear and a serious one as well. A former sparring partner (UFC guy) verified the injury and how all the sparring partners were sent home weeks early. Manny also asked NSAC for a shot to numb his shoulder pain. It's 100% verified that Manny had a bad shoulder injury. He thought he could fight through it but it flared up during the fight.

Pac is also due to go to surgery in a couple of days intensive one and will be out for nearly 1 year hmmm I guess this a joke

You make it sound like he was fighting with one arm yet he had no trouble throwing rights all night long, a swing and a miss! His punch output did not decrease round by round and he lifted his arms in victory at the end. Besides that not one person watching, commentators, audience or pundits was aware of any problem with a shoulder nor made mention of it and he certainly didn't declare it pre-fight. Besides that his leg's were fine yet he couldn't get into position. He was just not good enough.

This guy fought one handed with an arm dislocated from the shoulder socket and won... by KO, Pacquiao is full of sh!t -

HBO probably realise that Pacquiao is done and they have no use for him anymore

Official paperwork says otherwise. I do believe he has an injury now and may well have had an injury in sparring made worse in the fight when he was wildly missing but he went into that fight claiming he was 100 percent fit. If he is now saying he lied on the form that he signed, under warning of perjury, then he deserves the court cases he is now facing along with the loss of respect. IF he lied on that form then a lot of people got burned in the process.

Rumour has it that Andre Dirrell was tapped up for Dr Shaw Hi's number and boxing still runs by it's own baffling rules under the shadow of lawyers and politicians!

Pacquiao was handled easily by Mayweather and the same thing would happen 100 times out of 100 fights, 'injury' or not.

How can he lie when konz listed all the drugs he was using for the shoulder?

USADA was also aware of the shoulder injury 3 weeks before the fights and allowed those expensive creams for the shoulder

So in this forum, we have all seen:

    Armchair warriors
    Armchair doctors
    Armchair nutritionists/fitness experts
    Armchair trainers
    Armchair psychologists

Now we can add armchair lawyers to this list. I've seen it all  god I love this forum

I haven't seen much of the post fight news so perhaps someone on here can enlighten me, but did Manny even fight to Roaches game plan? Most of the corner action in between rounds seemed to be in Mayweather's corner so we couldn't really see if Roach was admonishing Manny for not sticking to it.

The only time we did see Manny's corner it was Buboy doing most of the talking, but this isn't anything new.

Look it comes down to this:

    Manny is a Southpaw.
His best punch is his straight left.
He couldn't land the straight left.

It wouldn't have made any difference if his non-dominant arm was less than 100 percent, he was outgunned and dominated with his main weapon in operation. No one should be surprised that he couldn't land a jab on arguably the best defensive fighter in history.

    No excuses.

Roach and Manny's pairing have outlived its effectiveness IMO. Sometimes I really really doubt that Manny's even listening to Roach in the corner, especially since Buboy does most of the talking and when he translates Roach's instructions he seems to be saying way more than what Roach actually said.

I think it is a little reactionary to say that the pairing have outlived their effectiveness. They have still been successful of late. Manny may have lost three out of his last six, but the Bradley loss was a joke decision, his performance against JMM was arguably Manny's best in their rivalry until he got caught by a terrific shot and against Mayweather, well he just came up against a legend. Add in the fact of Manny's age and his change of style due to him not being able to do things he used to do and you have what you have now.

I don't personally believe any other trainer could improve Manny right now.

why are boxers not penalized more for excessive hugging? i mean hugging/clinching if your hurt or tired od one thing...but hugging/clinching repetitively through out the fight as a tactic? is this really what boxing has become?

i expect it in mma, but not in boxing...i think the sport of boxing has evolved and now has way too many fighters that clinch/hug and use it as a tactic, rather than use it sparingly when hurt or exhausted
