Honestly Manny should have shut up about the injury.

Either pull out of the fight because of the injury or delay it.

Or fight and take your loss like a man and do not mention the injury.

That is the classy way to do it.

I agree with everything. Though, I gave Pac rd 2. Pac pushed and controlled the pace more in that round and was able to land 2 power shots towards the end.

Floyd won 12, IMO. Though I could kinda see why people would score it a draw.

    YDKSAB!!!!!!

It was easily 117-111, I know a bunch of people who have it 10-2 even with repeated viewing.

Pacquiao only won 4 and 6 decisively. Everything else pretty much went to Floyd. He controlled the pace of all of those round!!!!

I gave 7 to Pac myself, because I was generous.

You're exactly illustrating my point random guy whose been watching boxing for 2 years. "He controlled the pace".....by not engaging in a fight?! By making Pac miss? It looks good, but it doesn't = points unless you counter him, not his gloves or shoulders.

Like I said, and you clearly depicted what I was saying, people gave Mayweather points because they knew Manny is a high volume puncher and that clouded their scoring.

  5. Mayweather hit Manny with 56 flush left jabs. Snapping his big head back all night.

I has it 7-5 Mayweather also.

An injured, past his prime Pacquiao won 5 rounds! tells me all i need to know about who would have won 5 years ago.

I'm a fan of both guys, I think they're both wonderful boxers. Personally, I wasn't impressed with either fighter. I've seen them both have better days. I thought Mayweather was showing his age whilst Manny was too cautious at times, it was like he just couldn't release his punches and I don't believe it was just because of Floyd's defense because even when Floyd was on the ropes, Manny sometimes didn't throw.

I think father time is catching up with both fighters, and it's really starting to show with Floyd. His team knows it, but the problem is Floyd has signed this contract with ESPN so he needs one extra fight and also the money is so great against the likes of Pacquiao that he can't refuse that kind of money.

I thought Floyd won the fight, but he didn't look as good as I imagined he would do, because Pacquiao looked awful in that fight aswell.

I also had it 115-113 for Mayweather. I first tried to watch it live but the stream was very poor and I did not even see the glimpse of the last few rounds. So I re-watched the fight the next day after reading all news and comments and I gotta say I was surprised how close the fight really was. Many rounds could go either way. May deserved to win but it was really close fight for me.

Commentators do colour things, However I had a hard time scoring alot of rounds simple because the alot of the of the close rounds, the camera angles didn't give you much chance at times to see if anything was landing that can easily affect the scoring.

I do wonder about comubox sometimes but if that is accurate (it's not always easy to tell) it's pretty clear Mayweather won the Boxing match.

I'd of put quite a few rounds down as draw.

I can see what Manny was saying post fight too. Manny was throwing the harder more aggressive stuff that may carry weight in a Fight, But this is the sport of Boxing. Unless you can knock the other guy out, it doesn't matter how hard Mayweather was punching, they still landed even if they weren't hurtful more than Manny did.

Floyd is a lock for the first 3 rounds, was pretty clearly the winner of the fifth, seventh, eighth and eleventh rounds.

Manny's best rounds were the fourth, sixth and and ninth rounds.

Rounds Ten and Twelve I could see scores either way.

It was interesting noting that Lederman and Rafael both gave Floyd the ninth round which I had as Pacquaio all the way.

If I gave Pacquaio rounds that were close, I had it 115-113. If I marked the rounds as I'd normally mark them, I had it 117-111. I don't see how 118-110 was scored.

Which again brings me back to the point that Pacquaio's best rounds were four (apparently after he'd done his shoulder), then six, nine and ten. Leads me to question how much effect the injury really had.

I had it 118-110 Mayweather. Aggression needs to be effective. Manny was not effective.
