Yeah mayweather was initiating the clinches and he was clearly concentrating intensely.

Pac was cautious and afraid to let his hands go as he didn't want to get hit back when he was missing.

Both were scared. End of story.

The look manny had in the corner after rd 1 was all you needed to see to know he didn't belong in that fight.

Is this the moment Pacquaio was cornered?

The pacquaio camp were projecting for most of the lead-up, if I had to guess. Rumours of Freddy thinking Floyd's camp was going bad and that he was missing training was really what had happened with Manny. Manny spoke of "proving there is a God" as though he needed a miracle to beat Floyd: "May God deliver him into my hands."

Suddenly, Mayweather and Pacquaio are at the same basketball game, and suddenly Mayweather initiates some serious talk and tells Pacquaio that they can discuss the possibility of a fight in one of their hotel rooms after the game. What's Pacquaio gonna say.. no???

Manny Pacquaio was "cornered" into taking this fight and there was no way out. Manny was projecting, by suggesting he had cornered Floyd. Manny lacked focus and seriousness before the fight. He didn't believe.

He did not fight like a man who believed.

Manny Pacquaio was cornered into a fight he didn't want to take.

Floyd gets his $200m and Manny his $100m. I'm sure they're glad they went to work for 36 minutes last Saturday night.

I agree, they were both winners. They really were, and they are both ATG fighters. But, the idea that Floyd was cornered into a fight he didn't want - I don't believe it. The "fate" of that basketball game which virtually forced the two to meet face to face led largely to this fight taking place. Look at the exchange they have at the game. Pacquaio is sheepish as hell and of course he cannot deny the advances of a horny Floyd, who insists they must meet after the game to talk some details about making the fight happen.

    Pacman was cornered.

But you don't turn down 50-100 million dollarinos.

Of course they were both nervous. Years of talk about this moment and the eyes of the world on them. 2 ATG fighters going at it. I thought it was a good fight, the outcome was exactly as I predicted. Floyd was just too big and too good for him.

Pac is still a top ATG no need to belittle his accomplishments

I think their teams were negotiating before that and perhaps this was the first time they met in person with negotations happening.

It's called focused. Check the s****own after the weigh in. Floyd looked so focused and intense.
