Pac is the underdog for a good reason.

Pacquiao was a homeless street kid who has a father which ate his pet dog. Now he is a multi millionaire icon with a loving family.

Losing or winning this fight isn't the be all end all for him

Floyd however...someone put him on suicide watch

Oh i agree......it was regardless of Corrales circumstances Floyd was ready and took care of business but post prison Chico would've been a totally different story or at the least a very very competitive close fight.....with it going either way....

I doubt it if indeed Chico is his best opponent and to make matters worse he Diego was far from his best that night, and then he gets out of jail and crushes everyone including the guy that actually beat Floyd and then he moves up to avoid him.....it sure looks REALLY BAD....
    :rofl:lol:

But do you really think taking chances he would be as successful? Because i think its a necessity that he fights cautious and defensive....because he lacks the firepower and the tools to be a offensive fighter.....especially at these higher weights.....

    we really dont know.

he doesnt believe in himself that much is clear.

the way he cherry picks and duck threats is a testament to that.

He reminds me of Camacho in this aspect but when Hector got off his bycle and set down on his punches he had good power.....but Hector had firepower and good workrate and went to the body well....and he did against elite comp, i've never seen Mayweather do these things....

My point is where is Camacho was clearly capable of being a offensive force, im still really not sure if Floyd is or ever was.....

These posts by you and the other 10 people you probably are posing as just keep getting more amusing. It used to be 'Floyd MUST take this fight to have any sort of legacy'. Now it's 'This fight doesn't do anything for Floyd'.

Floyd's legacy doesn't need saving. He already has a pretty decent legacy he will leave on the sport my friend.

I love Pacquiao, he's a great fighter and one of my favourites today but if anybodies legacy needs saving it's his. Loss against Bradley followed by a KO to Marquez.

Even his last fight did more damage than good to his legacy. Khan is copping flack from the whole boxing community for mentioning Algieri yet it was OK for Manny? Open your eyes.

first fact is he took the fight 6 years too late. after PAC was brutally KOed.

Fact two is floyd's resume doesnt have anyone near ATG prime status when he fought them.

Fact 3.im not giving manny a pass at algheiri. it was garbage. imo

The fight may be 6 years too late, but it's still on now, no excuses. I'm sure Floyds plan wasn't to sit and wait patiently, hope that Pacquiao gets knocked out and then sign the deal. Anyway, Pacquiao getting KOd like that was the best lesson he could have learnt, especially when coming up against a counter puncher like Floyd. Even a boxer who isn't known for knockout power would have knocked him out, he walked right into it and caused himself to get KOd - Marquez had little to do with that.

Yeh I'm not saying he will be an ATG (personally I think he will up there somewhere) but you can't deny the fact that he has a great legacy that he will leave on boxing and anybody who can't accept that fact is simply just a hater. That's ok, legends of the any sport will have their haters.

If Pacquiao was to win this fight, and he has a great chance, I'm sure all the Pacquiao lover boys will be claiming he's the greatest because he beat Floyd.

At least we can agree Pacquiao's fight against Algieri was ridiculous, because it was disgraceful.
