I don't believe anything Roach says. 'Mayweather's legs are shot' etc.
Roach made a joke of himself in the pre-fight IMO with all of his unnecessary comments, I've never really liked that guy.

We can see a different story in fights. Manny always says the killer instinct is there but we know it truly hasn't been there for a long time. It's not that I think he's lying to everyone, it's more that I think he's lying to himself - or how Oscar described being past prime 'you can see what you have to do, you can see where the target is, but you just can't pull the trigger anymore' - something like that, but the same sentiment. Manny even says that he won the fight vs Mayweather.
I'm yet to watch the fight in slow motion (lol) to see how much landed of Mayweather and Pacquiao's (with perfect judgement) but how Pacquiao can think he won by 2 rounds is beyond me. I had it an 8-4/9-3 win for Floyd.

With regards to Cotto, Cotto said even after the fight that he had no excuses, he had trained very hard and was feeling very good on fight night.

I don't even think Roach would give him that many rounds...!!!

Damn, completely ill prepared for this fight.....Floyd's right crosses
kept reminding Pac of the Marquez fight!

P.S....as much as I do not care for Floyd, he didn't run...he kept the fight in the center of the ring circling Manny around.
Floyd mostly kept a wide open stance.

So much for all the talk from Roach...!!!

As a Christian, I can tell you that he is going through some severe pride issues.....

    1. He states that God will deliver Mayweather into his hands... = False Prophecy

    2. When he clearly looses, he still says he won.... or else, he prophesied Falsely....

He should just honestly stay quiet, go back to the Phillipines, and give it a rest. I was rooting for him too.... but yeah, at most he won 4 rounds.

A 15 round fight would favor Floyd more then any of the fighter today.
If a fighter knows they have to go 15 rounds, they would slow down their pace.

Floyd only hold to get fighter off their rhythm not so he does not get hit.

Scoring power punches would be stupid .. Because Floyd drops right hand like he drop jabs.
Hook , upper cuts and rear straight count as power punches regardless the amount of force behind them.

What boxing really needs is better educated Fans !!!!

And not the ones who don't think their ideas threw because their idol got schooled.

These are the correct punch stats, mate. If you score a fight in favor of a fighter who was outnumbered 68 to 98 on landing punches you obviously dont know how to score a fight. Running and clinching is not really "ring generalship" either, which is a term without meaning if you get heavily outnumbered on landing punches anyway. Pac won the fight in the eyes of the world, you may prefer Vegas judges decision if its too hard to accept the fact that Floyd clearly lost.

I have to go back and watch Manny's postfight interview in slow-mo with no sound.

I'll be back with a report.

Yes, you are correct. Chico did beat Casamayor at 130. What about Floyd then? I would say that far and away he was most impressive at 130 and 135 but his the names on his resume are better at 147. It is not all about names on a resume at a weight that determines how effective one is at that weight. Forgive me if I'm forgetting any because I can't get to a computer at the moment but here are some big names from each weight...

    130:
Chico, Genaro, Manfredy, Chavez, Carlos Hernandez.

    135:
    JLC (x2), Sosa, Corley

    147:
Judah, Baldomir, Hatton, Mosley, JMM, Pacquiao

    Even 154:
    DLH, Cotto, Maidana (x2), Canelo.

And when it comes to Murray, you are in fact wrong. Murray had more fights at SMW than LHW and actually won a title at 168! Are you suggesting the Hearns fight was Murray's only fight at MW? Because again, you would be mistaken! He started his career as a MW and he ended his career as a MW! Murray had no issue making 160! Murray fought as often at MW as he did at LHW in his career. He was small for LHW but MW was out of this world deep in the 80s so Murray fought at SMW and LHW in order to get cracks at the title.

Look, I don't have a problem with you, but you don't actually know the time period and contenders that well. Murray was never drained at MW. He was perfectly comfortable making the weight. This is a guy that would come in at 172 on same day weigh-ins without cutting an ounce. He fought for titles there and at SMW because it was easier than getting a shot at MW at that time. And you call him a bum, yet you know very little about him.

aggression is still aggression. it is pressing the attack to make the fight. it becomes ineffective if the opponent refuses to engage and be content defending hence fight is avoided therefor doesn't make a good boxing match. most floyd fights become like over matched when in fact he is not making an effort to fight since health comes first.

He didn't win ****. I don't need to a hack website or to watch a fight in slo mo to tell who won. That's the type of **** losers do to try and justify why their man lost. I knew Pac****s would pull out the excuses when their boy lost but I didn't think it would be this bad. But I should have learned to never underestimate the length a Pac**** will go to protect their God Pac. PBF clearly Pac and the history books will reflect it no need wasting my time arguing with a bunch of Pac**** zealots who don't know **** about boxing anyway.

Mayweather looks a little marked up from the Pacquiao fight. He got hit by the harder punches that fight, we saw him rocked.

But Manny beat the opponents that Mayweather beat in a much better style, complete dominations.

Anyway, it's not Mayweather's fault but with Pacquiao being legit past prime + injured, it's just not possible to give him much credit for the victory. Pacquiao's specific strengths were actually lost due to him no longer being the same fighter - that meant everything in Pacquiao's particular case.

Is Mayweather the greatest in his generation? That's still up for debate. Is he TBE?
Nah, I can think of a number of guys in the past who beats him:
SRR, SRL, Hearns, Duran, Napoles, Whitaker, Chavez. Maybe Griffith, Curry and Rodriguez.
But he still is in my Top 20 of all time in terms of boxing ability.

People thought pac was gonna be the one it done before he never had a chance. has no jab and barely throws body shots. he was doomed from the begining. To bad casuals and trolls actually believed it because it made them say the fights wasnt good but it actually wasnt that bad entertainment wise.

4.4 buys, public fooled by trolls and ppl that DKSAB!! I told ppl what was gonna happen and i picked up my $6k. get over yourself, you dont even believe that BS you posted

I'm glad you made out like a bandit by betting on PBF like Paulie M. said betting on PBF in this fight was the best investement one could make better than investing in Apple or Microsoft easy money.:yep:good
