I wonder if Bradley's cuts from the first Marquez fight healed?

The thing is Pac claims he's injured millions of excuses and pacs come running out of the closet they were crying/hiding in. Bradley claims injury, no ****s given.

I don't see how this technology is at all helpful or an improvement if it can't accurately tell us about punches that land on a scoring area.

The public outcry isn't over who won the fight.

Everybody agrees with who won the fight (except for Pac and forum goers).

The public outcry is over a 12 round boxing match where the fighters combined to land less than 250 punches.

Wtf? Are you less knowledgeable about the sport than Typhoon lmfao. How does force determine if it's a jab or power punch. Do you know what a jab is? If a fighter has an amazing jab and the power to knock someone out with it, it doesn't make it a power punch, it's still a jab.

Can't stand google warriors who know nothing about the technical aspects of the sport.

it would be hard to do by using force of impact. In tennis, there is technology (hawkeye) that tracks the ball and it is used for replays - it will show exactly where ball landed (computer animation) to determine whether it was in/out. I wonder if similar technology can be used to track punches and allow punch ****ysts to track trajectory of punches to determine where it landed, IF it landed.

All Hawk-Eye systems are based on the principles of triangulation using the visual images and timing data provided by a number of high-speed video cameras located at different locations and angles around the area of play

You still aren't getting it though. When I watched the fight live I had it 9-3 Mayweather and I thought it was a decisive outcome (and yes I was rooting for Manny and was disappointed). But it turns out the fight was actually very close, as while it had the outward appearance of a usual Mayweather win, his punch connect % was actually about the same as Manny's. This was because much of Manny's defense was more subtle and harder to pick up in real-time. There was no decisive beating. But don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that the judges should have scored it for Manny or anything because I don't blame them for seeing the fight as they did. I just believe that they were very closely matched (both equally nullifying the others offense) and that Manny deserves a rematch.

Pathetic troll thread. We'll see if the result gets reversed since only a number of people believe this nonsense. Don't hold your breath anytime soon.

Calm down guys. I'm not saying this should be the solution. I'm just being theoretical. Still, I don't think having two men count punches and determine it for themselves is an accurate way. I'm not an inventor, but there has to be a better way than what we have. I'm sure someone can come up with something.

I agree with the fact that there should be a machine officially counting, but determining the force to differentiate between a jab and power punch is a pretty dumb statement. I see your point though :good.

The fight was extremely close, fact. Floyd didn't do much for anyone to consider it a dominant performance. The main problem was that Manny didn't understand that he had to win rounds decisively, not try and win close rounds. Nobody is going to give floyd his first loss by edging him, it will have to be a hurculean effort! Manny probably did out land Floyd, but he should've done more...
