stop it, stop letting these idiots get to you, they know nothing. Arum, clearly, is trying to defuse the situation here, the lawsuits have piled up and it's to TR's and Pacquiao's benefit to somehow show that they were fine going into fight. They don't want to bleed $$..

In any event, i'm not sure what these trolls are trying to prove cause Pacquiao was clearly injured after the fight. Whether it happened before or during the fight doesn't help f l o m o s' cause because either way, Pac was hampered by the injury.

For Arum though, it's important that he can prove injury occurred during fight cause if he can't, they may have to pay some $$ out.. Again, it's irrefutable that he had an injury, the only question that needs answered is when it surfaced or became worse.

 

Didn't he claim this all along? People are trying too hard to make this a huge issue.

Some people treat injuries weird. My twin always has sprained ankles from cheer. She'll, and other cheerleaders, will tape it until you lose all circulation practically, and it'll go numb. That way they can tumble on it 100% even though it really isn't 100%. She makes it worse by doing this, but as long as she has some way to numb the pain, she just keeps doing it and it never gets better. But at least it let's her perform at 100%.

Pacquiao wanted the shot for the pain. He felt if he could numb it with shots, he could go in 100% even though he would really just be making it worse, but hey, they'd deal with that after. As long as he could use it 100% during the fight by not feeling the pain, he's happy. Though, when he was denied the shot, you can imagine his reaction. It'd be like my sister having to power tumble at Nationals without taping up her sprained ankles beforehand.

Surfaced- training camp, 2-3 weeks before fight
Worsened- 3rd/4th round of fight

The doctor says he completely tore one of the tendons off the shoulder. So, I'm guessing it was a partial tear at first and then when he hit Mayweather with that 14 punch combo in the 4th round, he completely tore it off.

When it happened is just theoretical on my part. Pac said watch in the fourth round when he threw the combo, you could see him back off and stop even when Floyd was still in the shell. He said he stepped back because that's when he worsened it and felt some bad pain. I mean, the reason I believe him is because he talked about that single moment before he ever had time to review the tape. He was right. He did throw the combo and just stop when he should've kept the pressure. I remember screaming at the TV, "WHY ARE YOU STOPPING!?" He could accurately pin point the moment and explain why out of every moment in the fight...all before reviewing the tape.

But I disgress. That all is really beside the point.
