I remember a few years ago when Eddie Chambers injured his left arm againt Adamek in the 1st or second round. He LITERALLY stopped throwing it. He turned southpaw fought the remainder of the fight throwing nothing but right hands. He was truly a one armed fighter. It was comical at time seeing him come forward throwin nothing but rights.

Then we have Pacquiao who some morons are now trying to say was "one armed" but still was still throwing the right jab, flinging wild hooks and never grimaced, never favored it, never complained about it in the corner or otherwise did anything to show to demonstrate that his arm was hurting. He had the injury since 2008 according to Arum but after getting schooled decided to bring it up since he let everyone down. I call bull****

Or we could actually do something much more comparable and use Mayweather's first Castillo fight since they actually had the same injury. Did you know something was wrong with Mayweather's shoulder in fight? I didn't. He was stilling throwing his jab, his left hand. Maybe not as much, but he was still throwing it. Mayweather never said he COULDN'T throw it. He simply said that he couldn't use the jab like he wanted and his left hand wasn't as strong. Same thing with Pacquiao. He said it just hurt to throw and it was 50%, not that he couldn't throw it.

So, compare those two fights please.

Also, you saw probably 20% of whatever happened in Manny's corner and can say he never complained. How would you know? You DON'T KNOW what was said in his corner. Fortune was asked if Pac said anything and he said, "Yeah, he came back after the fourth round, said, 'My shoulder's done.' And that was it." You don't know what was said.

And once again for you people who love to misconstrue everything. Pacquiao tore his cuff in 2009 in a jet ski incident. AND THEN IT HEALED WHEN HE RESTED IT. Ya'll leave out the most important part. Then, in 2015, he re-injured it in the same place and tore it worse. In fight, he tore it more and detached the tendon. Goodness gracious. You call bull**** because you all you are listening to is bull****. If you pay attention to what is actually being said and not all the embellished reports, then it would make sense.

Vitali Klitschko also had a similar issue I believe, from the 3rd round and he was throwing both hands until he just quit outta nowhere because he couldn't handle the building pain and realized he was doing more and more damage.

Evander Holyfield tore his rotator cuff in the 2nd(had injured it awhile before the fight), grit his teeth and threw his left with abandonment, by the second half or final third of the fight he was one-armed.

So Pacquiao paid off the world reknown surgeon to verify the injury and then got a phantom surgery and take a year off to keep up appearances?

    :lol::lol::rofl:rofl:patsch

There are so many ways to tear a cuff. If Klitschko quit then I'd imagine he detached more than 1 tendon. It's possible to tear all four and that would 100% leave you one-armed because your shoulder would physically be detached from the bone, lol. I don't know though. It's different for everybody.

Mayweather seemed off, but fought through 12 rounds. Klitschko quit. Holyfield fought through and it got tougher the longer the fight went on. Kobe went back to the locker room then came back and played the rest of the game. Pacquiao seemed off, but fought through. He appeared extremely one armed later in the fight. When he was able to cut the ring and trap Floyd, he'd only throw the left hand in the flurry and kept his right tucked to his side. It's just different for people because the injury can be so various.

According to his med reports though, Pacquiao tore half a tendon before the fight and then after the fight, he had a full length tear in one tendon and a partial tear in a second one. So, 2 of the 4 ended up being torn with one being torn all the way through.

Tell you what though, if Pacquiao got the shot and went in there with it numb, he could've torn both tendons all the way through, possibly more than just those two, and might have ruined his shoulder for good.

He used it throughout the fight and then tried to use it again as an excuse. That arm was overused.

If he got the shot i'd imagine he'd have really damaged his arm to the point he wouldn't be able to use it, but would still be energized with the one arm, has anyone seen Chavez Vs Morales? you gotta be on something to still seem happy and energized just winging one arm. No one can act like that under extreme pain. Chavez was known for having extreme heart(Floyd fight for instance), wouldn't be surprised if he was often on something coming into fights.

He did pay for a $4M cheering section. Why wouldn't a doctor take the same to perform a surgery of convenience? All he has to say it was significant and embellish the story a little. $4M for a 1 hour surgery. EASY MONEY!

Pac's Peds helped him from not feeling the effects of a torn rotator cuff from 2008 up until the Floyd fight

It is very tough to compare fake/exaggerated injuries to real/serious ones.

TBH, one thinks it was close. The others thought it was in the 116-112 to 117-111 range. They're not blind like the Pac fans on this forum.

    Lmao. Are you sure?

Mayweather exact quote post fight, "Yeah, I hurt my shoulder. On my last day of training, I think I tore my cuff in my left shoulder. I couldn't use my jab like I wanted and my left hand wasn't as strong as I needed it to be. But, I don't want to make any excuses."
