It's boxing, not backyard brawls. :yep

We wanted to see Mayweather's style vs Pacquiao's style. Not Mayweather doing what he never does :nod

Yes, a champion in one of the toughest sports in the world, over 5 weight classes, and 16+ years... has held titles longer than Joe Louis...... Has never faced adversity.

Sure pal. You forget to take your meds this morning son?

A reasonable boxing fan, would typically say all the fighters who step into that ring, have heart. From the greatest fighters, down to the journeyman who has a full time job. It's a very tough and demanding sport. If you don't respect that, you've never tried it, and certainly aren't a true fan of the sweet science.

I'd like to add a bit by introducing a bit of confirmation bias to the kids persona break down. He see's what he wants to see as anything contradicting his beliefs apparently doesn't exist.

The sad thing is pac fans knew his style, why would they expect him to slug it out? The truth is they didnt, they thought pac's style would beat floyd's defensive style and when he failed miserably, they started crying, and some even went on suicide watch.

Exactly. Did they expect something different?

If Mayweather had actually looked good within his style and/or Pacquiao had looked good in the process, the complaining would be minimal. Instead, they were both terrible, Pacquiao tried to passive box with Floyd(a gameplan doomed to failure) and Floyd fought solely to eek out the win in about as awful a fashion as can be imagined, clinching and fouling the **** out of Pacquiao early with no reprisal from Bayless(again), running, and throwing a scant number of punches just to score and get his defense back up fast, no bad intentions whatsoever. He didn't even have his typical accuracy on display. And to add insult to injury, the fight did much better than expected on PPV buys, so boxing could have really stepped up in the public eye with even a decent showing. And Pacquiao pulled his excuse routine after the fight to complete the sorry presentation with a poor aftertaste.

I think the fact that the compubox stats were rigged and the scorecards were ridiculous is why people complain about this fight.
Mayweather talked himself up how he would walk down the small Pacquaio and KO him, even chopping wood and promising a lot. In the first round Mayweather looked very good, then in round 2 he tasted a Pacquaio shot and realised he would get Ko'ed if he was to stand toe to toe with him, he was afraid of Pacquaios power and realised his power shot Pac just walked through, from there on Mayweather was always going to resort to running.
The hugging didn't help him, he did the best fight he could, I don't think Mayweather could have been better against Pacquaio and made it competitive because he would have risked being KO'ed with any greater effort in attack.
Pacquaio was cautious due to JMM but he didn't need to be, by the time he started to unload his shoulder injury came about. I don't think we will see a rematch because I don't think Floyd believed this battle worn slower blown up Pac would counter him the way he did and a 2nd fight although would make a lot of money would also potentially ruin all his work of keeping his 0 safe.

well, i heard a lot of people saying one guy did not want to fight and they say a father was calling his son scared so probably it was boring. a fight really did not happen when it was supposed to be the fight of the century. they just got tons of money they did not show what they promised.

I loved every second of it. Mayweather completely shut down Pacquiao's offense and punch output and had him scared of being aggressive for fear of being countered on that Glass Jaw of his. Masterful performance I had it 118-110.
