Alvarez, though a champ, is still unproven but has potential.

Mike Alvarado got plenty of people talking with his come from behind TKO of Prescott. I can see him taking Garcias belt.

Brandon Rios is always worth talking about, though I find him to be annoying. But the kid gots a chin, and power to turn a fight around with one shot.

Antonio Demarco good solid champ that has been showing impovements.

Miguel Vasquez another solid champ, not your typical mexican brawler, this kid gots some slickness and boxing skills. He'll give anyone at 135 a good fight including DeMarco.

Mikey Garcia is just about ready for a title at 126.
Johnny Gonzalez is still there too, holding a belt.
Salido still gots people talking, JuanMa gots people talking only because of his antics after the fight. But many are dissmissiing him as being done.

Abner Mares proved to be the man in his division...

There still some good Mex fighters there to talk about. :good

I shall be going to mexico in late july/august!!! It is part of med school where you work in a hospital and the surrounding area for a few weeks in an impoverished part of a country. I honestly cannot wait. Although I dont speak a lick of spanish I must learn to try to get by. I dont know the exact area right now(there are 3 locations and I am not sure which one I will get, its done by a lottery) but I will divulge that once I finf out. Any tips? I hope I can find some boxing fans haha. The total gorup will be 12-15 of us so i will have some Americans with me but I do want to makee the most of this.
