Ah ok I had heard it was the other way around but it could be my friend out there in Aguadilla just hating on NYC Boricuas he's been that way ever since Rosario lost to Camacho.

Man, I'm almost willing to wax my brows PR style only if Gonzalez can beat Dzinziruk!

    The island for sure....

Though its no different than the rest of the younger generation, I posted a couple of days ago on the thread titled "boxing is dying in America....." and I mentioned the fact that the rules are different now. A young man's rights of passage has changed and you can label yourself top beast by posting more pics on your twitter than the next man. When I was a kid you proved yourself within certain circles by slap boxing an older dude with heavy hands, jumping in the train tracks and tagging up or blowing up pay phones with cherry bombs and taking the quarters out rolling up to your local pizza palor and challenging every asian to a bout on street fighter.

 we definitely are of the same generation, that brings back memories. But since I grew up over-sea in germany we used M-80's ( they might be the same as cherry bombs ) to blow up parking meters. Drinking age is 16 in Germany but if you were 14 and looked and acted a little older we could get beer at the beer tents at the feasts. We would pass a huge stien with warm and dark German beer around a circle till someone quit or baffed. There wasn't to many Asian kids around so we would fight Turks.

By the way our little crew was all Latinos... Mexicans, Boricuas, Nicas, Dominicanos... all Spanish speakers stuck together over there, we were all rice and bean eaters.

    Same **** different toilet I guess LOL!

Maybe you misinterpeted the whole Asian mention....we would challenge them in the Arcade game Street Fighter because they where freaking experts and if you beat one of them you where considered "the man" LOL! at least for that day. I didn't go around picking fights with them  your one mean mutha fuker. :yep

My best friends growing up where spanish, black, irish and italian....I grew up in a pretty diverse neighborhood in New York....one time I brought my Irish buddy to the Puerto Rican day parade and we got into a fight with some "bloods" because of reasons I don't even remember and we all agreed to video tape the fight since one of my boys knew one of the blood dudes and for some strange reason we negotiated a one on one. The Irish kid destroyed the blood dude and if the cops didnt show up it was would have turned real ugly becuase I could see the shiny hardware wraped around some of these dudes waists and they where sorta sore losers to say the least :!:

Oh and when Mom's cooked rice n beans we where all Puerto Rican :yep
