I was wrong. Props to Alvarez for winning an underwhelming fight.

Cotto held his own in my opinion. In the early rounds I thought Cotto was doing well, then Canelo took over…

I agree. Anyone that says Alvarez walked over Cotto has an agenda.

He didn’t walk over Cotto, but he did clearly win the fight. (more convincingly than Floyd beat Cotto)

I didn't see it as that clear cut of a victory but I thought itwas a good decision. I still don't think that much of Alvarez as a fighter. Oscar better be careful with him. He's not going to outweigh all of his opponents by 15 pounds.

Yep! There's a reluctance in this forum to give Canelo, (who a lot of people here thought could not stand center ring and box with Cotto), his proper due.

Cotto was competitive enough, but the rounds were clear in the favor of the fighter who landed the much more effective punches.

Canelo was not only more effective in his connects, but he also actually oulanded Cotto period.

Where are the hardcore Ricans at????:yep

Idiots. I don't hide. Im just woke up, too much drinking till 10am. I don't know what happened early on, it seems that canelo landed something that made cotto reluctant to throw. Or it was just an horrible gameplan with no backup plan because no adjustment mas made. He was content with just dance around. Canelo won easily ( not that wide like those scorecards but still
