The Official No Excuses Thread for the Wilder-Fury Fight may the best man win

Would of been better to happen a little down the line but I'm going to enjoy it as a fight between two top guys. I don't think Fury could of got himself in better shape at this point so Wilder is fighting the best Fury 2018 has to offer and that is surely a consensus top 5 guy.

Thus Wilder deserves credit for taking out 2 top 5 guys in a row if he wins. If Fury wins and pulls the upset then I'm going to give him a heap of credit as I thought he was nowhere near ready for this fight a few months back. I'm starting to believe now though.

Hopefully we get a competitive fight to enjoy - which like him or loathe them, Wilder and Ortiz certainly gave us.

 

I just hope there isn't any BS and the right man wins.

 

Wilder is a serial can-crushing bum.
Fury is a washed-up has-been bum.

Whoever wins deserves credit for being less of a bum than the other.

Don't worry if fury gets shafted the yanks will be full of excuses and teling us how it could have gone either way

 

If someone gets shafted are you going to say it could have gone either way?
Like you did for the clenelo vs ggg fights or ward vs kovalev?
Fans being butt hurt is one thing but endorsing robberies is a lot worse

 

Listen, I’ll put it this way: A binge like the one Fury was on, can potentially destroy a professional athlete, especially in the worlds toughest sport.

BUT! There is no excuses, once a fighter steps between the ropes. And it’s HIS responsibility to take care of himself and ensure his own career.

So, there will be no excuses on my part. If Wilder wins, it’s because he is the better man, period! Hard work trumps raw talent, and Wilder works damn hard every day of his life. Huge respect for that!

If Fury wins, I will commend him for coming back and beating the most dangerous fighter in the world. Again, huge respect!
