    I posted my opinion in another thread, think it’s more appropriate here;

Anyone else think all excuses/reasons will be valid regardless of the result. I do.

Fury was out of the sport abusing his body, fury’s comeback performances against bums were poor, his trainer is lacking experience and the fight probably is too soon.

Wilders resume is weak, he was given an extra life by the ref at the end of the 7th or 8th vs Ortiz, he’s a poor boxer and his power is overrated.

These will all still be true regardless of result, only some will be conveniently forgotten.

Will the result make any of it less true?

Those are facts too. Sure fighters have had long offs before. What's your point? They've been affected by them. Ali = not the same after lay off despite doing non of whag Fury did.

Ali is a perfect example considering they have similar styles (not in level before any smart ass chimes in).

Ali was still great after being robbed of his prime. Fury can still be great as well.

It's a great fight and the worst stylistic match up for both guys. It's going to come down to who is able to impose their will on the other. It's two undefeated world class Heavyweights, may the best man win.

Fury has been fighting his whole life, he didn't forget how to fight. His body is the same body he's always had. Like he said, if he says he's ready to fight, then he's ready to fight.

lol spoken like a true Wilder nut hugger.

We all know Fury isn't ready and Wilder is only taking it because he knows it won't be prime v prime..

See the disappointing thing about this farce is Fury if he is anywhere near his best would provide a good contest but other than his **** talk we have no idea if he is ready for such a step up so soon.

Going by his last two performances he isn't ready.

But crow all you want when your man gets his ko problem is it isn't going to get him any closer to a AJ fight because he will want too much money again..

Wilder nut hugger? I'm a fan of both dummy. This is anybodys fight both have a great chance to win. I just want the winner of the fight to get their due without excuses. I guess you're not the type of poster who will give a guy their due if they win?

    SquaredCircle, no excuses.

Great matchup, great clash of styles, and takes on the feel of anything can really happen. Full credit to the winner and respect to the loser for taking the fight.

If this fight happened after Fury beat someone we could actually judge his condition in, there would be no excuse, but that never happened, so of course there will be excuses.
Acting otherwise is pointless. If Fury loses this fight, and it could definitely happen, we still will not no his condition until he measures up against people we know he would of beaten and how badly in the past.

Saying no excuses. When we all know there are plenty, is just sweeping reality under the carpet, to bum up the opposition. Everyone with half a brain can see that.

This is my only account. You will realise that soon.
We all know Fury has problems. Drugs, drink, not fought a real opponent in three years, don’t pretend otherwise. Nobody is fallen for your daft post.

Wilder taking this fight at the time he has, has put all the pressure on him. The only reason people are doubting a Fury win in because of the reasons I listed above.
