Have picked him in the Prediction thread, and I feel he has a nice draw as well (avoiding David and Salam until potentially the final where he may have to face one of them).

It's his coming out party on Wednesday and I hope this exposure will get him signed up with one of the top promoters in the country :good

 

i don't think i've seen mendy. i see he's only 19 and all of his losses have come against decent "home" opposition....has he suffered any robberies?

whats his style and how far can he go?

Many felt he beat Anderson last time out, and I'm sure the majority of his other loses were controversial as well.

he looks pretty decent if you look beyond his record (awful opponent in that clip though :tired)

i've been unoriginal and gone for salam in PF but i'll be rooting for Mendy

 

No chance he beat Anderson thats such a ridiculous thing to say, that said he's a good kid might suprise a few.

why in that video is he wearing a headguard and the other guy isint .

 

Didn't Danny Flexen have him winning by three rounds?
A few Scottish posters including Top Dog also thought Mendy won.

 

Think they must have been wearing sensationalisation sun glasses.

 

he's a good young fighter, but i think paul david wins it, his toughest fight is his first one, he to seasoned for teenagers, mendy depending on the draw as i havent studied it, will do ok.

 

Nah he sounds French. Hope he gets KTFO.

 

it'll be an interesting final. david is the big favourite but mendy will present a completely different style from the first 2 fights
