    I agree.

He drains a ridiculous amount of weight off. And that could have had something to do with Quintana just shoving him around inside.

I hope your kidding about 160. Can you image him him fighting Taylor or PAvlik. It would be murder.
154 he can still be competitive in.

    Hes an admitedly natural middleweight....

Moving up in weight worked wonders for Cotto and Miranda.

Williams doesn't have the bone structure of a 160. He would get beatings by a lot of guys. He is still a great welterweight, he just need to work some things. He is a good boxer after all.

It's hard shoving a guy off of you over and over again when you lack power and have just added 18lbs to your frame in a day.

Well... Miranda has had one fight at 168, against a Contender reject. Not sure if I'd say categorically that it has "worked" for him.

Cotto at 140 was still a tremendously strong on the inside, and his power was there. Where making weight hurt him was his ability to take a punch. Moving up to 147 cured that problem, and complimented his power.

Maybe at 154 Williams is less drained and has more strength. But his flaws are still fundamental. How is a head hunting offense with a face first defense going to work against guys who walk around at 175+?

I think he needs to stay at 147 for at least another year.

Yes but look at his frame. He looks far too fragile and he already weighs in at over 160 on fight night. Besides if he cant hurt guys at WW then i doubt he can hurt guys at MW. He can maybe get a title at 154.
The thing is with Cotto is that at 140 he was still knocking everyone out. It just improved his chin.
Miranda is still truly untested at 168. His power carried but what about his chin?
