Hmmm...Well, if he's black, and we haven't really proven that yet, then technically no, he really isn't from Arakansas. I guess his origins would be from the African continent. So no, he's not technically from Arakansas. So technically speaking, BHOP was right, he has yet to lose to a white boy or a boy from Arkanasas.

No, that was the exact word I was looking for. Of course, this is the exact display of inconsequential dribble I would expect from you. After all, you refused to acknowledge the closeness of the fight (in contrast of many boxing experts with more credentials than a gas attendant as yourself) and created this thread, oblivious to that fact, truly exposing your level of ignorance.

Your prior posts and comments concerning other major bouts reflect that as well. I suppose when you're just a gas attendant, it makes you feel better to think you know more about boxing than those with better qualifications.

    "
When the split decision came in Calzaghe's favour Hopkins was outraged. He claimed that he had just taken his opponent "to school" and taught him some basic lessons of boxing and if anyone doubted this they should look at the video because the reason video evidence sent so many people to prison was that it just doesn't lie.

There was an element of truth in this, because in some areas Hopkins was undoubtedly the more assured and accomplished performer, and on one official scorecard and many others around ringside he did indeed conjure the verdict. It was also true that the winning margin of 116 to 111 awarded by the judge Chuck Giampa (Ted Gimza made it 115-112 Calzaghe, Adelaide Byrd, 114-113 Hopkins) was a gross exaggeration of the superiority Calzaghe was able finally to establish."

Why would I be "disillusioned" by a victory? :nut

Either way, you are still delusional. :yep

Take a look at some of my posts before opening your mouth - I have said several times that it WAS close and I have even acknowledged that you could score it for Hopkins depending on your criteria.

From the clip you posted, it looked as if Bernard landed a good crisp punch and then pushed Joe down.

At any rate, even if you give Bernard that round 10-8, it still doesn't come close to cancelling his inactivity for the rest of the fight. He fought much better than I expected he would but I think he lost clearly.

Joe came to fight and pressed the action all night. Bernard came to survive twelve rounds and he did. To get there he slowed down the action by excessive holding, armlocking and faking a low blow. All crafty tactics but not meriting a win.

I respect BHOP for his genius but I want entertainment and throwing a couple of punches each round and then headbutting followed by holding just aint gangster! JC came to fight and wanted to trade. BHOP came to fake low blows because he was tired from JC workrate.
