Actually I was a fan of this dude, but he's pissed me off and let his fans down time and time again. He's the latest starter in boxing history. Loses 10-11 out of 12 rounds and hurts his opponent way too late. Always had good power, but the guy has to step it up. Die or die trying.
I remember visiting friends down in houston and going to the club. So i'm there in the club and what do I see? Rocky Juarez, drinking his ass off, this was a week or two out before one of his scheduled fights. This was during his impressive 6 fight losing streak.
Not sure if Rocky was never good enough or just unlucky to come in at the wrong time(Marquez, MAB, Pac, etc) but at this point in his career this is a real ROCKY-type story so I'll be rooting for the underdog!.
Im rooting for him, i hate to see him being used as a stepping stong for Golden Boy. He still has the pop to hurt anyone so im hoping KO's this kid, but like another poster said, his slow starts have always been his kryptonite.
