Hometown cooking and over involvement from the ref.

And I'm not sure if it counts, but the stoppage in Romero vs. Barroso was utter garbage.

    Moretti’s scorecard was particularly questionable.

Think this thread is a great shout. I thought Loma got the rounds against Haney but that was a close fight. Would it be more useful to focus on the most blatantly corrupt or inept decisions? Which judges or refs made them, where the fight took place etc

First that come to mind in recent times are:

Haney v Loma - Dave Moretti round 10 - US

Davis v Garcia - Dave Moretti round 2 - US

Romero v Barroso - Tony Weeks early stoppage - US

    Taylor v Catterall - Scotland

    Canelo v GGG 1 - Adalaide Byrd - US

How about penalizing those SOBs judges when an obvious biased scoring is made ?
They shouldn't just get away that freely all the time. After all it's the paying public fans who pays their salaries....

As far as the 'paying public' goes, that'd include all the so called 'boxing fans' putting focus on those hyped up exhibition sh!ts, youtubers etc. Boxing just follows the money. Probably always has done. Difference is now the boxing comes second place at best with those that are organising it. Someone running their mouth is more marketable than a great in the ring. If Ali had said what he said and couldn't back it up on the night, he'd be a laughing stock. He could back it up though. That doesn't mean sh!t today and boxing continues to suffer. Almost every authority in boxing continues to lean into this increasingly powerful, fake facade.
