you cant judge a fight on how the two fighters look afterwards that is what i am trying to say. you know as well as me that the figth should have been stopped. as sexton had to resort in spitting out his gum shield.

Did you watch the last fight. Our you deluded. Pick Sexton to win by all means, but he did not deserve to win the last fight, he was protected by a dickhead referee, turned away in submission to Rogie, and cheated by spitting his gumshield out.

This is good. If Rogie wants to win this fight, he has to get angry and get stuck into this bollocks. When he turned up the heat in the last fight, Sexton was close to getting mullered. When he tried to box, he failed. If Marty goes in raging, Sexton's head's going to end up in the third row.

  5. I can guarantee you that won't happen this time round :good

loads of fighters in loads of fights have spit out they're gumshield when in trouble, its cheating about as much as clinching/holding in this situation, it proves that Sexton has good survival instincts which as it turned out won him the fight.

I wanted Rogan to win but this thread has actually changed my mind, Sexton is just acting like a confident young fighter and saying things that all fightewrs say in the run up to a fight, Rogan on the other hand is behaving like a big childish bully.

I can see what you mean and you may well be right, but Sexton was very sharp early doors last time and wobbled Rogie a couple of times.

I think Rogan will come out ready to destroy and if he is fighting with his heart rather than his head he may well walk onto one and Sexton can crack a bit.

So your coming over to Ireland to support Sexton, because if your not, your support or lack of support for Rogan means FA. Its the ten or so thousand cheering Irishmen that will mean somthing come fight time.:deal

He didn't he turn away in submission, he just got spun around by the punches. The gumshield spitting to buy time is out of order but Sexton isn't the first or the last fighter to do it.

Rogan had Sexton in all sorts of trouble last fight but was also getting outboxed for long periods of it. Should be a great fight, both men know what they have to do to win.

When a fighter in trouble spits out his gumshield its the refs job to ensure the action continues until a quiet period, it was a combination of Rogie being a bit naive and awful refereeing that won Sexton the fight but like you say Gaz should be a ******* next time as they both know whats in order.

I agree, Rogan should have kept punching until the ref told him to stop. The action doesn't stop because the gumshield is out, its stops when there is a break and the ref replaces it.

I also think at that time, although Rogan was one good punch from sparking Sexton, its debatable whether he still had it in him. He looked VERY arm weary at that point IMHO.

Hope Rogan knocks his ****ing head off, for me its not about Sexton been a coward, because he wouldn't have chose to fight Rogan again in my opinion, but if the sectarian comments are true then he deserves what he's going to hopefully get!

Sexton is a total ****. I can't wait for Martin The Peoples Champion Rogan to reclaim his belt and give Sexton The pretender the beating of his life. Rogan made the mistake of trying to box in the last fight it was only when he got cut he started to fight. When he did Sexton was a mess. Martin wont make that mistake again. All out war from the first bell.

This is probably the one fight Im most looking forward to. Hang up your taxi plate Martin were all behind you.
