The official Sky need to show a full fight thread

How hard is that to figure out?

We didn't need to see any of the awful ugly affair that was Jeffries-King (especially since it appeared to be a robbery, and was merely upsetting to most who saw it). I don't care what kind of medal Jeffries has.

Rather than show 4 of the six rounds of that piece of crap, show ALL TEN of the very exciting Concepcion-Hammond rematch (instead of seven), and maybe if need be to squeeze out a couple more minutes, a little less babble about the stupid new Prizefighter season they're probably going to promote incessantly, anyway!

The funny thing is its midnight, not exactly prime time TV where they're short on space. Why on earth they don't make it a 2:30 or even 3 hr show and show all the rounds and do a little more anaylsis and make the whole show a little more complete I really can't fathom. It's like the lazy ****s need to go home ASAP.

 

Prizefighter gets 3 hours, FFN gets 2 hours.

It's just not fair :deal

 

why over run it?

they should go live at 9pm and run til 12.

 

They show **** all after 12 too.

They don't mind running over if the football goes to extra time, so why not the boxing? It's not as if whatever is on next is going to draw huge viewing numbers at that time of night.

 

It gets me when they do this, especially on PPV cards. That's a **** take to go with the adverts.

WTF do we subscribe to Sky for if they are going to edit out what they think is right. They should show the full fight and leave the editing down to the paying punter in their armchair with their remote control...:yep

 

Exactly. I was looking forward to Concepcion-Hammond 2, but instead they show 7 rounds of that and 4 rounds of Jeffries in a close and boring fight with a featherfisted journeyman.

 

Was really fuming with them not showing the full Hammond-Concepcion fight last night, they turn a great undercard fight into an instantly forgettable one with cutting out 3-4 of the later rounds.

Especially when they must have promoted PBF-Mosely and the Prizefighters at least twice on last nights broadcast, there was enough time even with the 2 hour slot.

If Sky dont give adequate time to show full undercard fights promoters will be less inclined to put together quality cards.
