Am I the only one excitied about this fight?

I see this as one of the first legit world class matchups of 2011. With Alexander coming off of a tough match against vet Kotelnik, it looks like he lost some of the aura he had when he iced the iron twin.

But no matter what you think of Devon's match with Kotelnik, Devon can punch, and Bradley can be put down. And as we know Bradley can get up, and keep his composure if Devon manages to land that big shot.

In the end, I think Bradley has been world class long enough to outbox, or at the very least outwork Devon, in a highly contested bout.

    Bradley 116-112 Alexander.

what I'm most excited about is that it's going to be in New Orleans. I don't even remember the last time there was a fight here. I'm going to get the best tickets I can, I just hope they aren't too expensive.

I sent a message the other day on facebook asking Devon about it and he just responded today and said it was about 90% that it is a done deal and would be in New Orleans.

Yea, even before the Kotelnik fight I heard it was almost done.

Its been almost done for awhile now, it better be official soon, that would be a shame if it doesnt come off.

Devon's punching rhythm is really predictable and Bradley is better at timing and seizing opportunities against an opponent. It's a good fight but I see Bradley outpointing him.

The shocker in Devon's recent robbery job for me was that Alexander could never figure Kotelnik's pretty simple yet effective style out, in fact, Devon often looked clueless and one-dimensional, even moreso than Maidana in his much closer loss to the classy Ukranian. Certainly not the best thing entering a Bradley fight who has faster hands and better athleticism than Kotelnik. While Timbo's defense is more leaky and often takes chances in a brawl that could play in Devon's hands, if he stays in boxing mode, Bradley can win by a pretty wide margin, let's say 9 rounds to 3 (my score to Kotelnik).

I rarely change my opinion on a fighter or a match-up based on a single fight and I was close to favor Alexander vs. Bradley before, but it was very clear that Alexander could not produce anything to adapt to the Ukranian's sweet science, and I'm not sure what he can do if Bradley comes up with the same fight. The very likeable Timbo takes this, but I think I'm gonna root for Devon in this one.

THE WINNER SHOULD FACE THE PEOPLE'S CHAMPION, ANDREAS KOTELNIK!

i'd favor Bradley by decision, alexander is pretty sharp but he gets hit alot more
than you'd think for a defensive fighter. Even Urango didn't have much trouble
    connecting. Bradley by wide decision

Very much agree, would be a good close fight.

Kotelnik, needs to stay more active and fight a Gavin Rees type or at least an imported lamb to keep sharp. Cause if he was a bit more active who knows, maybe he could have pulled out the rounds he needed to get a decision of Devon the first time (although a decision for him in N.O. was probably impossible).

Yea he did. That's what I mean, Rees posed minimal threat, while making Kotelnik go rounds, so another guy like that could only keep him sharp while staying active, IF a rm came with Devon, or a fight with Bradley popped up.
