The Official Ward vs. Green RBR thread

My Major concern in this fight as a Ward fan is his lunging in and out. He must come out of inside until ref says break or he comes off at angle. He must be very disciplined.

I can see people idea of a shock. I think if Green can explode early...he could shock the world...but i really feel it's mindset with Ward. He is a humble individual and knows the risks he takes and what's needed and not. Green likes to unload hard looping shots when working out of a clinch. Ward at range musn't crouch down in range..he has to constantly give angles and lead left hook is a good shot on Green. He's a lazy fighter if things aren't going his way.

This is a stern Test!!!

 

I don't think Green has the movement or heart.

 

His only hope is his power and hoping Ward is naive. I think Ward will expolit his poor workrate early on and later he will turn up pressure. He will bully him up close. He presents a few problems but i agree...Miranda fight shows all we need to know. Ward must be aware early doors though..

 

i think green is dangerous.

cos ward has been tagged and hurt before.

and green is quick with those hooks.

i think ward will manage to stay away though.

I think the Boone fight people over emphasize. Ward has gone a long way to show that was more naivety then anything.

Ward's holding was actually way worse against Miranda.

i think hatton gets a bad wrap on it.

he was a come forward fighter.

up close is part and parcel of what he was all about.

although i accept in that fight he was blatantly spoiling.

The miranda fight was unwatchable imo i stopped around the 4th. Green talks a good game but i don't give him a chance tonight,
