Muhammad Ali IS A TOP 1-3 HW. Ali may or may not be the best in terms of skill/talent/ability. However, he did emearge as the best of the best era of heavyweights.
My personal rankings are: 1. Louis 2. Ali 3.Marciano.

 

Do you know your boxing history,Ali beat Frazier,Foreman and Liston,with just those 3 victories alone he has the best heavyweight resume ever,never mind the rest,Shavers wouldnt be a bum,he is possibly the hardest puncher in boxing history,if he landed on any heavyweight in this era its lights out,if you cant see how good Ali was then im sorry you just dont get boxing..

Also Foreman beat a prime undefeated Frazier and won the title at 45 both those accomplishments are better than anything Lewis ever did.

 

Foreman got beat into christianity by Ali.

Lewis' resume has far more contemporaries and less losses than Foreman's does.

 

Lewis beat Prime Frazier,Prime Norton,Lyle,Cooney,Cooper,Qawi, and Moorer.
And while he lost more fight he also has more wins.:deal
