How? How else? From behind the comfort of my keyboard, fool!

Seriously, instead of trying to come along slowly, he needs to get into the action. All the grief people gave Kelly Pavlik after his first loss, and Floyd after retirement? He is no different. He's supposed to be this grand warrior who's goodfor boxing, blah blah blah. Horseh****. He is "carefully crafting" his career at thispoint.

Every good fighter today has taken advantage of effective match-making. The last thing Cotto needs is another setback. These fights aren't soft touches either. This isn't being coddled, it's being smart. His win last night was good. It doesn't mean he's 100%. If you care about him winning, you do everything within reason to ensure that.

Cotto best chance in the new weight class is Angulo. Angulo ha some pop to his punches and fights similiar to Antonio Margo without the granite chin. It would be a good test and a fight the fans will watch. It will let Team Cotto know if he is ready for tougher fights are hang it up.

Although I'm against Margo, Cotto/Margo 2 makes the most sense. Both guys need quality wins to move on w/ their careers. If not Margo, then Angulo.

I don't think Cotto could beat Martinez or Williams.

Magarito.....i gotta see that he can beat this clown...i feel any ELITE boxer should be able to beat Margo...there is nothig to Margo but a chin and power...nothing an ELITE cant handle.

I have to agree. I like P.Will but think he is too sloppy to chop down Cotto.

Obvisously going the a/b/c fighter route isn't accurate, but if Quin can outbox P.Will, Cotto the better, stronger, harder chinned fighter will probably be able to do the same.

margarito, angulo or chavez jr.. all are mexicans so that alone will sell the fight.. he'll make a lot of money in any of those three plus all three are winnable.. the thoughest one on paper is margarito but i dont think he's the same fighter without loaded gloves

    :hat

OK.. And with that logic... If PW was able to whip Margarito (8-4) on two of the judges cards, and that same Margarito mowed down Cotto into submission, then what would Williams do to him?

I think Cotto is way better of a fighter than Quintana, enough to replicate another loss on P.WIlls record.

Like I already said, the a/b/c thing is generally a not accuate way to guess fights. In fact it's almost never accurate, that's boxing.

I just think Cotto has the tools to beat P.Will Period

Margo seems to be most peoples favortie.

Revenge would be sweet for Cotto.

berto and margarito are the most popular and yet only one person has mentioned berto in the thread. I picked andre to see what cotto has left in the tank in terms of fighting a young, quick, champion. I personally dont want him to stay at LMW but we shall see. I also vote a HELL NO to a pac rematch. Only ******s and *******s want to see that ****.

Well there is nothing I would rather see than Cotto humiliate and annhilate Margarito. Preferrably with Steve Smoger so the carnage can be prolonged; but then again it's still a tough fight and Margarito does not deserve the paycheck. Thats why I voted for Berto, would be a good fight against a rising star and extremely winnable from my point of view. He has no business fighting legit 154 pounders IMO
